What a great comedy show, most of the characters are superb.

This is one of those typical British shows that makes no sense and goes no where.

English people need to learn what humor is and not humour.

No, Americans do. Christ, the American sense of humour is (generally) crap. I'll admit that some US shows are great - Simpsons, etc..

But generally, you guys aren't funny. The scripted presentations of awards/general attempts at weak humour just really make me cringe.. that's meant to be funny?

I dunno if anyone from the UK watches Soccer AM, but there's this American correspondent they have, he's the epitome of the weak, flat humour I think of when thinking of American humour.

And I've found Americans just don't get irony. This American girl that came over here for a week was the most unfunny, unironic person I've ever met. Perhaps I'm generalising due to this bland girl, but.. meh.

Not just that - Trigger Happy TV - very funny over here, they adapt it for an American audiences humour - it killed it completely. Dom Joly was the only good thing in the US series, the American actors/actresses were just shit.

The only British comedy series worth watching is Alan Partridge everything else is pointless, bland crap. Little Britain just has the same characters do the same thing each week but in a different context. Like that guy in wheelchair, all he does every week is get out of chair and do something while his mate isn't looking. Thats not funny its tedious.

American comedy like the Simpsons, South Park, hell even Friends and Fraiser piss over anything made by the British, including Partridge.

Alan Partridge and The Office are the only British comedies that I've ever enjoyed.

All the rest seem like weak shows that get canceled in a few weeks in the States.
