I don't find them that expensive and you can get the scratches out of them. I was collecting them but then i joined a gym and don't have a lot of time anymore to sit and watch movies.I'd like to start again though, there are a lot I want to buy and it is addictive.

I got around 15 dvd's. I got the basics pretty much like Scarface, etc...
Yeah I htink to some people they like collecting movies because they got lots of free time but to me I got no time to spend, it is all how much time you got free is what it comes down to.

I never used to watch much films, but this summer since i've had about 3 months off, so i've started to buy DVDs and catch up on some films I missed when they first came out in the cinema. At the moment i have around 30 DVDs.
I dunno what the prices are like in the US or Canada but DVDs tend to be around £15-18 (US$27) here in the UK, but you can pick up some of the older films which have been re released on DVD for as little as £6 (US$11) which I think is pritty good.
(Sorry if price conversion is abit off, I used Yahoo Currency Converter)

New ones in the U.s. go for like $15 the first week then around $20 after that. The old ones you can buy for cheap usually $9.99 and obviously box sets are more depending on how many dvd's are in it.
