Recently I've been getting TV series. Mostly Family Guy and Curb Your Enthusiasm. I hadn't seen any of the Lord of the Rings movies, so I got those, Kill Bill Vol. 1, Miracle, A Streetcar Named Desire, Butterfly Effect, and a bunch of operas. I've rented a lot more but I just can't think of them right now.
DO you consider yourself a film buff and possess cases upon cases of DVDs?
-Yes I do. I love movies, I love watching them and I want to make them one day. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
Do you thing DVDs are the bane of the film indusry because there so expensive and scratch easily?
-Hell no. If you want them cheap, get them right when they come out. If you don't want them scratched, learn how to handle them. Or get a DVD cleaner.
Which of your DVDs has the best special features on it?
-I actually just bought the Alien Quadrilogy set. It's 9 frickin disks. Four for the films and 5 for special features.
__________________ When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near. Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the country not enter the city. For this is the time of punishment in fullfillment of all that has been written. How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! There will be great distress in the land and wrath against this people. They will fall by the sword and be taken as prisoners to all nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
...At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.

I own around 100+ commercial DVDs and countless stuff i've recorded to DVD through a DVD writer I have (including my entire WWE Tape Library!).
Last set of discs I bought were the Bruce Lee 30th Anniversary 6 Disc set, which has come down to an amazing £17.99 at Play.com. Well worth the cash, as you get the full, unedited versions of each of Bruces films bar Enter the Dragon, and interviews with his students/commentaries, everything. Well worth it.

Next things I add to my collection will probably be Shaolin Soccer and Alf Season One.
DO you consider yourself a film buff and possess cases upon cases of DVDs?
-Yes. I love watching movies, I love learning about movie making and I would love to make movies. I also like watching movies from around the world (Mostly Asian, French and British) instead of just sticking with holywood blockbusters. And finally I like movies from all decades and not just current decades. So I feel that is enough to consider myself a buff.
Do you thing DVDs are the bane of the film indusry because there so expensive and scratch easily?
-No. If you take care of them they are fine. The image and sound quality plus special features make DVDs one of the best things in the film industry. I can't stand watching VHS anymore because of them. DVDs are not much more than what VHS used to be so I don't consider them expensive. And you get a lot more for the price.
Which of your DVDs has the best special features on it?
I love movies and have the money to waste on them right now so I waste it. 398 now To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
