Rep Power: 5 ![]() ![]() | Wrestlers in Films Do you think its a good thing. Do you think they do any good? John Cena has taken on the leading role in a film called THE MARINE which begins shooting this year, HHH has begun making movies, then there is the Rock and Hogan who have tried their hand at being a thespian. Do you think others may follow, if so who? DO you think they all will/do suck? Do you like any movies with Wrestlers in them? |

Wrestlers seem to be conditioned well to acting 'cause theyre more or less doing the same thing when they go out and wrestle. Its the same process of putting yourself into the shoes of another persona and then 'being' that person. |

I think one guy who could play a pretty good movie villain is Christian. He has a really "evil" aspect to him, plus he can be funny when he needs to, but the fact that he's not one of the top dogs (like Rock or HHH) will probably keep him from ever breaking into films

They Live Yeah, it was awesome when we were kids. Watch it nowadays and you will say "What the fuck was that garbage?" I liked the Rundown quite a bit. That is the only Rock movie I have seen.

I think in comparison to The Rock's movies too, it sucks, because The Rock is in pretty big productions. They Live wasn't big, it just was what it was (hell, it's now an American Movie Classic).

I can't remember much about it, apart from he was huffing and puffing his way after some guy. I think I saw it, thought 'Hey look, that's Andre the Giant', then flicked straight past.
