New Jersey emo/dream-rock quartet Armor For Sleep have reportedly inked a deal with a major label, reports Aversion.
Although neither the band nor the label has released a statement confirming the rumors, the music-industry tips sheet Hits Daily Double revealed the Equal Vision Records act put its signature on the dotted line with Sire Records. No details on when the band will enter the studio to record the follow-up to last year’s "What to Do When You Are Dead" (Equal Vision).
Equal Vision Records is a home to such bands as Coheed and Cambria and Alexisonfire.
In other news, Armor For Sleep is one of the confirmed acts for The Warped Tour 2006. In its 12th year, a traveling punk-rock festival will feature its usual multi-stage setup this year, with five main stages and several smaller stages.
The bill also features Thursday, Anti-Flag, Motion City Soundtrack, Underoath, The Academy Is... and Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, among other bands.
Armor For Sleep have just finished "Invisible Sideshow" tour in support of the latest release.
