Major League
Major Leage one and two are class films. I picked up the DVDs in American because I can;t get them over here. I love Marty Doyle in the Commentary box and I think there some of Sheens best films behing Platoon, its a shame Wesley Snipes didn't do the second one.

My top four movies are as follows:

Shawshank Redemption,
Stand By Me,
The Green Mile,
The Last Samurai.

I can never decide which one falls higher on the list than the next, which is why there are four.

Skinartia: Which scene have you got tattooed? Do you have any pics of your tattoos anywhere? I think I'm getting another done a week on wednesday, but I can't make my mind up as to what I want done.

Tomorrow's Just An Excuse Away,
So I Pull My Collar Up And Face The Cold, On My Own.
The Earth Laughs Beneath My Heavy Feet,
At The Blasphemy In My Old Jangly Walk.

Fight Club stands out as one of my all time fave movies. I love the psychology behind it and its deeper meaning.

The Matrix Trilogy I enjoyed a heck of a lot more after watching it a few times and getting the theological linkages its littered with. Its got a whole Yin-Yang balance thing going on in so many different levels, and the effects are cool too. Its not yer typical action flick!

Donnie Darko was really good, and so was Mulholland Drive.

A flick that stands out for some reason that I havent seen in ages is Arlington Road with Jeff Bridges. I loved that when I first saw it.

Arlington Road is a great film with a very original ending. I love Tim Robbins in AR, brilliant performance. Its a shame that the events of 9/11 have resulted in his film hardly ever being shown.

Pinkie, Mighty Ducks films rule even the quite bad but fun 3rd one.

I also forgot 2001, A Clockwork Orange and Vanilla Sky.

I loves the weird movies.

When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near. Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the country not enter the city. For this is the time of punishment in fullfillment of all that has been written. How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! There will be great distress in the land and wrath against this people. They will fall by the sword and be taken as prisoners to all nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
...At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.
Luke 21:20-28

I could spend all day quoting that movie:

"It's like Lenin said, you find the person who benefits and, uh..."
"I am the walrus?"

"say what you will about the tenets of national socialism, at least it's an ethos"

"do you like sex, Mr. Lebowski?"
"you mean coitus?"

"i still jerk off manually"

I highly recommend this movie for anyone who hasnt seen it
