Hey folks don't know if anyone cares now but I saw SM2 tonight (it opened literally today )

I could do the following to review the film as a huge fan of the comic book

HOLY SHIT THIS FILM WAS GREAT !!!!!

However I now understand some of Skins objections about the CGI, the electricty near the end was pretty piss poor.

There was so much however to like about this film, I'm a sucker for a bittersweet love story so I loved the MJ Peter thing that was going on and I thought the action was terrific when it came.

My only gripe about the film was the whole resurection of the GReen Goblin. That would suck if they did that, I want the rumours to be true about Venom.[/i]

Exactly my thoughts as I walked out of the cinema tonight.

And for my two cents, I wasn't overly impressed with the film as a whole.
I'll admit the CGI was good, but I felt like I was watching a cartoon for the majority of the film, especially the train scene. I also hated how like a million people found out about who he is. That sucks majorly!

My biggest problem was Doc Ock though. I bloody hated this character from when I used to watch the cartoon when I was a wee bairn. A man with giant tentacles in his back? Are you f'ing kidding me?!? I was gutted from the moment I saw his reflection in Spiderman's goggles in the Teaser poster.

I also hated how like a million people found out about who he is.

They never really found out who he was. For all they knew he was just some kid.

They will prolly have 2 bad guys in the next one. It is a comic book movie remember. And it is a guy in a spider suit who can shoot webs out of his veins and you are nit picking at people swearing to not tell anyone? If you want to nit pick, you should be more concerned that the whole world isn't after him to do scientific research lol. You get my point here...

I loved the campy song bit they tossed in after he lost his powers. The power was out at work today for a bit so we were in the boardroom watching it on a big screen. Generator supplied the power. I found myself laughing my ass off at it. Until the power came back on..

I just saw this last night. I must say it extremely good. I thought it was better than the 1st and I really liked the first one.

Good drama, great action and a cool twist on the traditional bad guy.
