Married With Children

You can say what you want about the likes of Friends, Frasier, etc.. but MWC Is the best US Sitcom ever (I say US cos Fawlty Towers And Only Fools And Horses are up there too..but both are UK)..

You sure as hell will never think of shoe salesmen in the same way ever again.

My fav was Bud.. how he'd never get a date..even resorted to using a store manniquen cos he couldn't get a date..then theres the infamous "Using a hoover to create a lovebite".

One quote I keep thinking of..Al comes in from work..and simply says "Well Vultures..youre mealticket has arrived"

then the other quote that has me in stitches..Al comes home late from work..Peggy says.."Whats that I smell on youre breath?" and Al replys with the ultimate comeback "Our wedding cake..its the last thing i ever ate".

anyone else got fond memories of this classic show?

Peg: "Aaal, let's have sexxxx."

*Canned Laughter*

Al: "Mmm, no peg."

*Canned Laughter*

*Al flushes toilet*

Ok, it's off the Simpsons, but it's funny.

And speaking of Married with Children, a few years ago I had sex with Christina Applegate. It was mediocre.

Married With Children is my favorite show ever. my favorite scene is when Kelly is at her high school reunion with all of her bimbo friends and one of them says "I cant believe I slept with EVERY guy in this room...what was I thinking that night???"

On a side note, at the Yankee game on Saturday I saw a guy wearing a "Polk High #33" T-Shirt that said "Al Bundy" on the back...that was awesome

I used to watch this show when it was on and they were still making new episodes and I loved it.

However, since returning to it I can't believe I ever watched it in the first place.

The laughs are pretty cheap.

That's what makes it so great. It's a total cheeseball comedy, but in a really tacky way. I love it.

My fave quotes would have to be:

Al: "Peg, we've been married now for seventeen years can't we be just friends?"
Peg: "I don't love you, I just wanna have sex with you."

Al: "Ah, home sweet Hell."
Al (about a Fergueson toilet): "Bawooosh! Now that's a man's flush!"

Not to mention The Labour Day BBQ Episode is a classic. I picked up Season 1 & 2 on DVD too as well as the Most Outrageous Episodes Vol.1

LOL!! And you have to add the one where he tries to fix the leaky roof and ends up walking on it in golf shoes!

So many classic episodes of this great series.

The episode where Bud gets caught playing with himself in the college libary was pretty funny aswell

Bud: Dad, I need to talk to you. The University just put me on probation.

Al: Way to go, son! What did you do? Paint the school mascot? Put on a panty wig?

Bud: I was caught... having sex in the school library.

Al: All right! That's my boy!

He gets up, walks over to Bud and starts shaking his hand.

Al: Who's the lucky girl?

Bud: You're shaking her...

Al pulls away his hand in disgust. Bud gets up.
