Hmm.. Well, I tell you what. The Exorcist scared the shit out of me when I was little. Also, freddy scared me just because he was an ugly bastard.
But there was also this movie, I can't for the life of me remember what it was called but I used to have nightmares. It involved some thugs shooting an indian guy and his wife or mother or whoever she was that owned a store and then he came back to take revenge on them.
anyone know what that was? I'm talking like late 80's early 90's when I was just a little thing..

Wasn't that one you're thinking of part of a series of short horror stories on a film. I think it included the one where the guy gets run over and the woman that ran him over (because she was out having an affair) didn't stop. Then his mangled corpse keeps attacking her car on her way home with him repeatedly saying "Thanks for the ride lady" in a creepy ass voice.
I forgot what they were called. Creepshow? There was like Creepshow 1,2,3 and so on??
So you're saying you recall the story? I don't know.. really. I watched the damn thing like three times but I never watched anythign after it because it fucked with my head so much... So I can't tell you if it was a stand alone movie or not.
I would have to say the original Amityville Horror. That was freaky when I was a kid, and even recently I watched it again and nearly soiled myself. I think the fact that they were basically alone in the middle of nowhere in a big, old house made me want to cry like a 5 year old girl.
And now, here it is...your moment of Carlin (12/4/2008)
Catholics -- which I was until I reached an age of reason -- Cathloics and other Christians are against abortions, and they're against homosexuals. Well, who has less abortions than homosexuals? Here's an entire class of citizens guaranteed never to have an abortion, and the Cathloics and Christians are just tossin' them aside. You'd think they'd be natural allies.
There was one movie that messed with me... and I have seen just about every horror movie out there... (worked in a # of video stores for about 3 years) Event Horizon...
I can honestly say that I am yet to watch a film that scared the bejesus out of me. There were films that gave me the creeps at the time but nothing thats messed with my head that badly.
i think the last one to affect me was, dont laugh, The Ring. Not cause it was a good film but because me and my then boyfriend scared ourselves after it and i associate it with that film. Lol, its funny to think about it now, we were so stupid!

I love that film and don't actually find it too scary.
One recent one that freaked me a little was The Exorcism Of Emily Rose, just certain things in that freaked me out a little.
Old horror probably The Evil Dead.
