I saw it last night and loved it. I'm not familar with the Bond franchise, but I thought Daniel Craig was fantastic. I find it hard to believe that some fans are quick to criticize a blonde Bond. I mean, how seriously can you take a franchise that releases a film titiled "Octopussy"?

On a side note, how cool is Judy Dench? I want to steal her!

I thought it was a great movie and I loved him as Bond. I am not saying I didn't like Pierce Brosnan, because I like him a lot; I am saying that I found him different and very entertaining and he makes a great Bond.

I do agree. Daniel Craig had a few problems playing the role as a charmer, but I thought he was still great in the movie.

I think it was meant to be like that though, him being not so charming. He was too busy trying to prove himself to the boss, being a 00 agent. He was just becoming who we know him to be, and he had a lot of people doubting he had what it takes.

Just got back from it.

I agree he was meant to appear less composed....it was his first days after all.

The time he spent with Vesper obviously turned him around and he was acting more and more like Sean Connery near the end of the movie.

"Shaken or Stirred?"

"Do I look like I give a damn?!"

hahaha Loved that line

Hmm,I didn't find the poker scene all that long and there was plenty of movie and action after it. The action in the first part was very entertaining I found.

I know the physical side was implemented in this film to show how Bond has evolved with time but for me Bond using brute force and hardly ever intelligence was another let-down.

There is also the fact there wasn't really a proper enemy but I don't want to ruin the story by going into that. The women were also disappointing and not up to the usual beautiful standards in my opinion (though that wasn't a great flaw for me).

And finally, it really felt like I was sitting there watching a poker match for half the film. I know it's playing up to the name but they really over-did that part of the film as it just went on and on...
