24 Day 6 Casting news

Quote:
Another familiar face is being added to the cast of FOX's Emmy-winning "24."

The ....... announced on Wednesday (Oct. 11) that Chad Lowe will guest star on "24" this season. FOX withheld information on when the Emmy-winning actor will join the cast or for how long, but revealed that Lowe will play a "savvy politico" named Reed Pollock. We already distrust him because he has two last names.

The series will have its two-night, four-hour premiere on Sunday, Jan. 14 and Monday, Jan. 15.

When last we saw Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland), he had saved the world. Again. Instead of being thanked, though, he was beaten to a pulp by Chinese government agents who hoped to transport him off to a prison camp somewhere. Season six begins 20 months later, as FOX puts it "After a series of horrific terrorist attacks, an unthinkable, nail-biting day begins." Returning cast members include DB Woodside, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Roger Cross, James Morrison, Eric Balfour and Carlo Rota.

Among the new additions are Regina King as advocacy lawyer Sandra Palmer, fresh presidential advisors played by Jayne Atkinson and Peter MacNicol and, best of all, James Cromwell as Jack Bauer's estranged father. Also joining the cast are Kal Penn ("Harold & Kumar"), Marisol Nichols ("In Justice"), Alexander Siddig ("Syriana"), Harry Lennix ("Commander in Chief") and David Hunt ("Everybody Loves Raymond").

Note that Eddie Izzard, announced as a guest star, will no longer be appearing on "24" this season.

Lowe won his Emmy for "Life Goes On." He's done guest arcs on shows including "Medium," "Without a Trace" and "ER." His feature directing debut, "Beautiful Ohio," had a limited theatrical run this summer.

Well, I gotta imagine that lots of new people will be popping up on 24. Who is even still alive? Bill Buchanan, Wayne Palmer, Chloe and Curtis are the only ones that come to mind.

24 has always been good at killing people off and bringing in new people to care about, but me personally......I think they went too far killing off Michelle and Tony.

It's about time......now bring on his next fued....

Now that Hillary Swank dumped him and revealed his drug habit to the world I am surprised he's still getting work.

He is very good at what he does though...

Just stay clean Chad!!!
