Every one is giving it rave reviews.

They say that it's the best film in years from every one involved.

I can't get to the theater to catch it but I will def. pick it up when it hits DVD shelves.

I'll be seeing this most likely. Is it based on real events? Or just a movie?

It's a remake of a Japanese film...

Nicholson said it's not so much a remake as it is a "re-imagined movie"

It's not based on true events as far as I know

Hong Kong movie :poke:

I have a hatred for Hollywood remaking foreign movies instead of being able to think of their own ideas for movies so while this one does look good I would have to get over that if I were to see it. Especially when it comes to the Infernal Affairs trilogy which is one of my favorite movie trilogies.

I saw this movie last night with my wife.

It was simply BRILLIANT !!!

I dont know if I got all wrapped up in it because it was filmed and set in Boston, but they really did a great job portraying the stuff that goes on in this city behind the scenes.

I dont want to tell you guys anything else about the movie, but here is a couple of things that will NOT give away the overall storyline.

The acting in this movie is some of the BEST I have ever seen in a film. Leonardo DeCaprio is excellent. He truely is one of the most talented actors of our generation. He even got the Boston accent. haha.

There arent really twists and turns. Its fairly easy to follow. More of just intensitythat keeps it interesting.

The movie feels like its like 30 minutes, but its actually 2:15. It flys by.

There are also a couple moments in the movie where the whole theater just went "HOLY SHIT".

Also, Mark Walberg and Alec Baldwin are in this as well. They play detectives in the state police. They are freaking hilarious in this flick.

GO SEE IT !!!!!!!!!!!!! I havent recommended a movie this highly since "Pulp Fiction"

DO IT !!

It's about time......now bring on his next fued....

it was awesome. I agree about DiCaprio. I was shocked at how good he was. DD also forgot to mention that Martin Sheen is in it too. and Anthony Anderson (the big fat black actor guy).

anyway, it's a great great movie. I loved it

That's Mr. Hogan to you pal !!

Things I agree with:Leo was awesome better Boston accent than Damon whos from the hood,Baldwin and Wahlberg were hilarious, a few holy shits @ the end and the whole Boston thing was great.Things I didnt like,I felt like there was no plot, the previews make it seem like theres a twist on who the rat was but it was pretty straight forward.Damon was awful.I guess I like movies that make you think ala The Usual Suspects and I though w/ cast and producer they could have done something like that.I didnt hate the movie especially because of the whole Boston thing and Wahlberg is from my hood so I like anything hes in,I just thought it would have been better, unless of cousre Im missing something, which does happen.Hope I havnt said anything to ruin it for anyone.
