Playgirl has offered Superman Returns star, Brandon Routh, $500,000 to pose nude, but he has yet to accept. An insider says:

"Brandon's gorgeous, and the editors noticed...He has the body and face of a Greek god." The insider says Brandon, 26, was offered about $500,000 for the layout, but he's yet to accept it."

Playboy and Playgirl are basically both magazines for men, so the fact that he's even considering this is bad. Seriously, the last thing Superman Returns needs is another reason for someone to call it gay. Superman should be fighting for truth, justice and the American way, not clutching his pearls and licking his lips when it's time to kneel before Zod.

No one could have predicted this years box office totals.

Pirates 2 is over $200 mil now.

Who would have thought a disney theme park ride based movie would overtake one of the most popular superheroes around?

In my opinion its well deserved as Pirates was the better movie, but still its kind of surprising to say the least.

True there was a ton of hype for both. But I think Superman actually spent way more on advertising...

Most of it was spent on production though as the film went through 3 or 4 directors and failed scripts before they finally settled on Bryan Singer and his version of the story.

They are still considering making a sequel though and eventually Batman vs. Superman with Christian Bale and Brandon Routh fighting each other.
