George Tillman, who most recently made the Notorious B.I.G. biopic Notorious, will direct, according to Variety. Johnson will play Driver, an ex-cop avenging his brother's murder, while Thornton is Cop, hot on Driver's trail. Somewhere out there is the actor who will play Killer, a hitman chasing Driver. This is like that time Hugh Jackman played a character known entirely as The Drover in Australia, except with a lot more killing and, well, probably a lot less unintentionally gay.

This sounds pretty cool, won't mind seeing them both together in this. The plot sounds like it's been done, but hell I'll still watch it.

Just cos something's been done, doesn't mean it can't feel fresh. I reckon this is a pretty decent concept, and with the right cast it could be great. I love that Rocky hasn't just gone for another kiddy movie following "...Witch Mountian", which would've been easy money. He always stretches himself, and you've got to respect that.
