Adam Sandler will next star in and produce the Columbia Pictures romantic comedy Jack and Jill, says Variety. Sandler will play Jack as well as twin sister Jill.

The trade says the project was brought to Happy Madison by Todd Garner (Paul Blart: Mall Cop), who will also produce alongside Sandler's partner Jack Giarraputo. Steve Koren wrote the screenplay.

Jack and Jill is scheduled to begin filming early next year and will be released by Sony in early 2011.
I'll hang in there cause it's Sandler, but shit this sounds bad.

And the fact it's by the genius that did Paul Blart. God that movie was horrible. Kevin James should have walked the fuck out of that shit by the second day of filming. And let's face it, Sandler hasn't had a great movie in a long time and this won't help him at all.
