Out of those three you can't compare IMO. It's easily Jack in first place, followed by De Niro, and then Pacino

All three are great actors obviously, but Jack just is the top legend out of the three.

My person favorite is De Niro though. Godfather II, Tax Driver, Deer Hunter, Raging Bull, Goodfellas, A Bronx Tale, Casino, Sleepers, etc.

Now that I think about it holy crap De Niro is a fucking work horse. Guy has had so many great, great films.

It's a good job they're all great actors because they're all basically the same in everything they do. But the big stars are often like that.

Pacino: Shouty
Nicholson: Smiley
De Niro: Grumpy

They could could easily feature in a remake of Snow White, certainly Pacino.

De Niro has probably had the better roles over the years, but he hasn't sustaned the quality of his output like Nicholson has.

I like all three like pretty much everyone, but Jack gets it for me. His turn to comedy the last few films he has done and his role in Departed were top notch. DeNiro and Pacino haven't impressed me in there last couple. But dammit if they aren't all golden for almost anything.
