Fox has ordered an additional nine episodes of "The Cleveland Show," the No. 1 new scripted series of the fall, bringing the second season of the series to a full 22-episode order, it was announced today by Kevin Reilly, President, Entertainment for Fox Broadcasting Company.
"While I'm excited about this news, I really can't wait until next Wednesday to see an all-new 'Glee,'" said Cleveland Brown.
The series premiere of "The Cleveland Show" was Fox's highest-rated Sunday comedy series debut in over six years among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Total Viewers.
In the next episode of "The Cleveland Show," airing Sunday, Oct. 18 (8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT), Cleveland (Mike Henry) gets a job at Waterman Cable, and Tim (Seth MacFarlane) becomes jealous of Cleveland when he becomes the top salesman and wishes for bad things to happen to him. But when Cleveland comes up on some bad luck and misfortune, Tim has a change of heart.
"The Cleveland Show" follows everyone's favorite soft-spoken neighbor to his hometown in Virginia, as he settles down with his high school sweetheart, her unruly kids and his own son. The series features the voice talents of Mike Henry, Sanaa Lathan, Reagan Gomez-Preston, Kevin Michael Richardson and Seth MacFarlane, as well as Arianna Huffington and Jason Sudeikis in recurring roles. Season One guest stars include Jamie Kennedy, Taraji P. Henson, Kanye West and Fergie.
"The Cleveland Show" is a 20th Century Fox Television production. Seth MacFarlane, Rich Appel and Mike Henry are executive producers and co-creators of the series.
Not shocking, but I haven't laughed much when watching it. Last episode was kind of funny though. Family Guy has been totally off to me this season. Actually the past few seasons.

The laughs have been very rare on this show. The main character does more laughing at the jokes than I do. The spin off was a bad idea and hopefully the second season proves it enough that it doesn't get picked up for a third.

I find the show to be alright, but the show's an obvious clone of both Family Guy & American Dad which is annoying. Animation Domination is now the Seth MacFarlene block (excluding The Simpsons) because of them shows.

Ugh. The show isn't horrible, but it's not good either. The fact that the ultimate mediocre show, American Dad, is still on the air after five bad seasons is prove that any show can last.

You like Family Guy more than American Dad? Ehh Family Guy is awful lately.
Even King of The Hill which I took a liking too as a whole was pretty terrible.
The Simpsons is barely watchable to me either though.

All 4 shows in the "Animation Domination" block is indeed mediocre at best. The Simpsons lost their touch for the past seasons and it's continuing to decline quality of jokes and memorable moments. Family Guy turns people off nowadays with the zaniness of Peter and his dumbass antics. The long cutaways still in the show and it seems like the writers are just throwing in random shit to make people laugh. Like The Simpsons, it got their moments and ends up becoming senseless garbage after that. American Dad & The Cleveland Show don't need an explanation why's mediocre, they're Family Guy clones as Seth MacFarlene wants his shows to get as much airtime as possible.

Family Guy has had their problems this season, but they're still pretty good. American Dad just comes off as such a rip off. It's one thing to have Family Guy be a rip off of The Simpsons, but when the same guy is responsible for three shows of a very similar structure (Family Guy, American Dad and Cleveland Show) it's a major turn off.
I thought King of the Hill was great for the first half of the series. Things seemed to drop once Lucky was added to the show. I couldn't stand him.
The Simpsons is currently one of the most underrated shows on TV. It may not be as good as it once was, but I still find it entertaining. The first episode of the season was better than any animated show on Fox this year.

Re: The Cleveland Show Picked Up for Full Second Season
NBC has the best comedy block because of the silly, dry, ridiculous humor you get from Parks and Recreation, they best new show in COmmunity, and the regulars in Office and 30 Rock. ABC isn't doing bad with Modern Family. FOX has shows that just become way too overrated, repeated, a d dissapointing

Re: The Cleveland Show Picked Up for Full Second Season
I actually love the randomness of Family Guy. I always thought American Dad was a huge rip off of Family Guy, and never really liked it. Although it does have it's moments. I've grown out of The Simpsons the last 2 years or so. Of all people, Cleveland shouldn't have gotten his own spin-off, and a spin-off in general was just a bad idea. It definitely lost all creditability when they added a talking bear. Far worse than an alien of talking fish. Brian should have been the only talking animal Seth came up with it.
