I still enjoy Family Guy quite a bit and I really don't see how it has declined at all, I love the randomness of it. While I do agree that Cleveland should not have gotten a spin-off, I actually really like the show and do find it funny. While I don't really like the talking bear and the hillbilly, I overall do enjoy it quite a bit. I think that a spin-off for Quagmire would have been alot better and interesting.
While I do agree that The Simpsons has lost it's touch over the past couple and maybe even few seasons, I still enjoy it quite a bit as it was the show I grew up watching so I still watch and enjoy. To me, The Simpsons has never really been a laugh out loud type of show except for certain things here and there. Regardless of the quality of The Simpsons declining, I still enjoy it.
I've never seen a full episode of American Dad but from what I have seen and heard, it's an absolute second-rate ripoff of Family Guy, therefore, I have no interest in ever seeing it really.
Overall, I still find Family Guy funny and continue to enjoy the show alot. Cleveland Show, I enjoy but as previously stated, Quagmire should have been the one to get the spin-off. The Simpsons has definitely declined in quality but I still enjoy it.

^I agree that Quagmire would have been a much better choice to have the spin-off rather than Cleveland. In my opinion Cleveland was the most boring character out of the four guys. The show is in a good spot so a lot of people will still watch the show regardless if it sucks or not and get ratings. American Dad is proof of that.
I may be in the minority here but I thought King of The Hill was awesome. Watched two episodes on adult Swim just an hour ago. Not as funny as some of the other shows but, I like it more that than the current shows on Animation Domination minus The Simpsons.
However, I will agree that The Simpsons may have declined in its quality but I still think it is a great show. Everytime a new season comes out on DVD I'm one of the first to buy a copy.
I do miss the good ole days when Futurama King of The Hill, Family Guy, The Simpsons, and Malcom In The Middle was the Line up. Not to mention the Kick ass X-Files that came on after.
Re: The Cleveland Show Picked Up for Full Second Season
King Of The Hill, I've never see a full season, but I have seen several episodes over the years. It's hardly a laugh out loud show but overall, it's very enjoyable. It's a show that I often forget about when I'm thinking of some different shows I might be interested in checking out in further depth.
Speaking of Futurama, I just got into that show about a month and half ago; I've now seen all four seasons and wow, it's a damn good show. Quite laugh out loud and quite enjoyable. I can't wait for the new episodes next year!

I disagree completely. The very thing that makes Quagmire funny is the thing that would hurt the show. He's just too much of an one dimensional character. What else is there to Quagmire's character besides being oversexed? His character is perfect in the role he presently has. Cleveland was at least more of a general character who, provided with more screen time, can have more layers of depth added to him.

King of the Hill was a show you just watched for the wacky, overconcerned plot each episode presented. It was definately the more realistic of the four and had more values and things you could attatch to.

King of the Hill = <3
I used to love Family Guy but now for whatever reason I hate the show (this includes the old episodes). I stopped watching Simpsons back when the movie came out but even then I didn't watch it often (used to be one of my favorite shows when i was younger). The only shows i really watch now (cartoon wise) would have to be King of the Hill, Futurama, and South Park.

"Dammit Bobby." 'And how can you not laugh at Hank's horrified sound. Something along the lines of "Ohhhhhoho" I don't really know how to translate it into words but yeah.
I'm in the minority here Family Guy-wise. While the new episodes aren't as good as the early seasons I still enjoy it.

Have to agree. It's his inevitable ocassional moral outrage that has me in stitches every time.
I didn't even realise The Cleaveland Show was a show. I thought it was just a one-off Family Guy special. It amused me, but not to the extent of thinking it worth a full series. Meh.
Also, people who have grown out of Family Guy and The Simpsons... Seriously? What have you grown into? Cos those shows, whether losing touch now or not, are still brilliant when you visit earlier episodes.
