A star of the MTV series Dirty Sanchez has been stabbed during an incident in a supermarket in Norfolk, police have said.
Matthew Pritchard, 36, was in Budgens in Toftwood, Dereham, on Monday afternoon when he was attacked.
Police said Pritchard, from Cardiff, was stabbed in the neck and chest and taken to hospital in Norwich for treatment before being discharged.
A man aged in his 30s was being questioned by officers.
A statement on behalf of Pritchard said: "He was trying to defuse an altercation and was subsequently attacked and stabbed.
"He has received treatment from the local hospital in Norwich and is now assisting police with their investigation, so has been advised not to discuss this case in more detail.
"He would like to assure all fans of his well being and has since been discharged by the hospital.
"He would also like to convey his thanks to the local police, doctors and nurses who have helped him over the past 24 hours."
The TV personality found fame for his painful stunts in the MTV series.
Dirty Sanchez is made up of three Welshmen - Pritchard, Lee Dainton and Pancho - plus a Cornishman, Dan Joyce, and the show first aired in 2002.
I hate people that have to use weapons, fucking cowards.
Pritch is awesome and I do beleive he was only trying to break something up.

The title deceived me I really lol'd at Dirty Sanchez
However after reading the story I agree that is messed up to attack someone breaking up fight much less attempt to kill them

Pritchard is a cool guy, it sound like the kind of thing he'd do as well (break up a fight). It's incidents like this that make people think twice about breaking up fights nowadays. Hope he recovers quickly. He does seem in good spirits in the picture. Wonder how Dainton is going to one up this one
Normally I would say that sucks and all that usual stuff.
