20th Century Fox has hired Randi Mayem Singer (Tooth Fairy, Mrs. Doubtfire) to write Big Momma's House 3, reports Variety.
The trade says the storyline for the second sequel is under wraps. New Regency and David Friendly are attached to repeat their producing duties from the first two pics.
The first two films, starring Martin Lawrence, grossed $174 million and $138 million worldwide, respectively.
Oh God, but ya surprised how much cash those two brought in. I have a weird feeling though the cash is going to stop coming in for this one.

Why make a third one. Two big mama's is more than enough. This ones not gonna make nearly as much as the other two. Would be very surprised if it actually did though.

That Madea movie whatever the hell it was made a ton of money, and I honestly couldn't grasp the appeal for that shit. So maybe we shouldn't surprised haha.

I don't understand how fat sassy black women draw. And I'm not being racist. I never realized how much money those movies had made.
It shows how much Martin Lawrance doesn't want to go away.
It's sad huh? Hollywood's really getting lazier and lazier, day by day with remakes & sequels that are trash. It's time that movie goers turn away from remakes & sequels and watch movies that was made with fresh ideas.

Tyler Perry's Madea movies are doing really well though so who knows..?

The first was good, the second meh. I won't see it in theatres, but maybe when it gets to DVD and for $10 or less.

I actually preferred the second over the first, but a third film isn't needed. I'm thinking it will suffer the same fate as 'Are we done yet?'. Are we there was good, but the sequel was appalling, even though it had the guy from Scrubs in. I'm assuming this film is going to flop, and have a silly pointless storyline to it, even so, i'll still watch it because i've watched the other two, but I won't be paying for it.
