When Michael Eisner took over the Topps Co. (now known as the Tornante Co.), what I expected was cooler baseball cards, not a random foray into the film industry. But apparently Eisner is trying to bring bubble gum into the movie world by adapting the well known Bazooka Joe comics into a feature film.
According to THR, Eisner and his company have tapped newcomer Mark Hammer to write a movie based on the series, which is used as wrappers for the bubble gum of the same name. What a movie about a four-panel comic will entail is impossible to say. All I can imagine is movie filled with really terrible elementary school jokes and odd nonsensical fortunes.
Bazooka Joe does have plenty of characters to work with, though, so I imagine if done decently, Eisner will at least be able to market a few toys around the movie. If done wrong, however (which is far more likely), the movie will most certainly be just as bad and bland as the gum its based on.

Well they could always deal it around the adult audience. Have Archie and Jughead fucking Veronica and whatever the hell the other ones name is. Make it a teen comedy in the sense of American Pie.
