i'd have to disagree with you, they renewed Chuck, they know what their viewers want.
After a LOT of debate they renewed Chuck for a partial season, yes.
I wouldn't say they knew what their viewers wanted, because if they had, they wouldn't have kept them on the line for so long, it would have been a no brainer.

Scrubs isn't done per se, but scrubs as we know it is done.
Dr's Cox and Turk are supposedly signed on as regulars for the next season, and the other major players are back for 6 episodes.
According to Braff (article To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. ), Scrubs is going to have the major players in for the first 6 episodes, to ensure a smooth "transition" to the show that it will become.
My guess (and right now, really, at this point it can only be anyone's guess) is that they're going to reboot the series as it were, keeping Turk and Cox and bringing in a fresh batch of interns. Like Braff put it though (and this makes complete sense):
Quote:
if any of you were in a position to put about 200 people whom you really loved back to work in this economy, you would do it in a second.
I'll give it a few episodes, see what's made of it.

Friggin ridiculous that Earl got canceled. That show was funny as hell. I can't imagine is doesn't get picked up by a different network.

Maybe Jason Lee can go back to being a talented actor now. But I see There is an Alvin and the Chipmunks 2 in the works. So maybe not.
I'll watch scrubs as long as it is on, the characters are great, but the new interns they introduce each season are always pretty strong, and the writers are still solid.

I'll give the first few episodes a go, we'll see what they do with it.
It's pretty apparent that they want to reboot it as it were, so who knows, it might be good. I just don't see HOW they can make it compare to the original
