It looks like Paris Hilton has finally found something she's qualified to do: Wave. That's right, Paris Hilton is now getting paid to show up places and wave hello. According to Page Six, Hilton was paid $200,000 to attend a charity event in Cannes.

Even Paris Hilton was amazed after she collected $200,000 just for showing up at a charity event in Cannes on Saturday. And FoxNews.com's Roger Friedman reports she was paid $1 million for a similar event in Vienna a few weeks ago.

What does she have to do for the money? "All I had to do was wave, like this," she said, imitating Queen Elizabeth II's stately palm swivel. Still, some party snobs try to keep Paris out. She was not invited to the Vanity Fair party at Cannes' Hotel du Cap over the weekend.

Now I may not be an expert on operating a successful charity, so maybe I'm missing something, but wouldn't that $200,000 have been better spent on say, the goal of the charity, rather than Paris Hilton's skanky ass? For that kind of money, people should be able to walk up to Paris Hilton and punch her in the head. You know, like those dunk booths at high school fund raisers. But instead of throwing a ball at a target, and dunking Paris Hilton in a tub of cold water, you would walk up to her, and punch her in the head.

Now that's totally worth $200,000.
