Despite there being rumors that Eric Bana was adamantly opposed to coming back for a HULK sequel, he revealed in a recent interview with MTV that he'd be more than willing to come back. According to Bana, "Look, I'm really proud of it. It's actually one of those movies that people come up to me and say, 'I just saw it on DVD and wow, it's pretty incredible.' " Interestingly enough, however, he hasn't been approached about starring in the sequel even though Marvel demigod Avi Arad has said the sequel is full steam ahead. Bana even agrees with Arad's assertion that the film needs to be less talky and more smashy.
Although I considered the movie pretty dull on the whole and the ending was rather silly, I think Bana nailed the part pretty well.
I'd be interested in the sequel if they go back to the basics of the Hulk character, leave Ang Lee out of the director's chair, and get Bana on board!
