PS3 Invades Taipei
Sony will show its future to Taiwan.

February 9, 2006 - It has been confirmed by several Taiwanese trade papers today, that a portion of Sony's booth at the 2006 Taipei Game Show will be dedicated to the PlayStation 3. Scheduled for next week, the event will be held from February 16-20 and the amount of space dedicated to the next-generation system is reportedly 25% of Sony's entire display. Sadly, details of what will actually be shown at the conference are still unknown.

Historically, Sony has highlighted public trade events with video walls showcasing game trailers in addition to having protected viewing cases with PS3 hardware inside of them -- it has been a common practice for the company since debuting the next-generation system at E3 last year (re: CES, TGS, etc).

If anything new (or interesting) should surface at the event before its conclusion, we'll let you know.
