Rey Guerero suspended indefinitely
In accordance with CWA's Wellness Program, effective Monday, October 12, Rey Guerero is suspended indefinitely for a violation of the company’s policy.Unlike other wrestling companies where they have a three strike and you're out policy, in CWA failing one test could be enough to get the contranct terminated. The wrestler who's failed the test, in this case Rey Guerero, will be out for at least 30 days. After the 30 day suspension, CWA will review the case and decide wheter to allow the wrestler back on their roster or just terminate the contract.
Logan V On a Scouting Mission
Logan V has requested the entire tape library for Joey Nicholas. It seems the number one contender to the X-Fly championship is getting prepared for his showdown with The Real Deal at Five Star Attraction.
Roberto still a top seller for CWA
Roberto Superstar has remained the top merchandise seller in CWA despite being off television since late July reports topropeobserver.com. ShopCWA.com is still featuring a big section for his merchandise on their website.
Dmac wins Title
Former CWA Superstar Dmac, who lost a "Loser Leaves Town" match to Rich Stone at "Hostyle Takeover", is the new World Heavyweight Champion for the AMLL (Asociación Mundial de Lucha Libre) promotion based out of Mexico. He won the title at a live event in Mexico City on Oct.2nd, after defeating another former CWA Superstar Abdul Akbar Alsam and Mexican Legend Nino Flores in a three way match.
