Just a heads up that a new Grading System will be introduced soon (As in not yet officially introduced, you will be told when we start grading with this method). Our previous system called for the judges to decide on what they liked and what they didnt like then give a score about the promo in general. The new system will be more detailed. The results will be posted after the shows so people can see what worked well and where they need to rethink.
Five Catagories with Marks out of ten for each to give a maximum of 50.
The catagories are as follows:
Originality: Something that we dont see every week would get a higher mark than a basic in ring promo.
Relavance: The main points of the promo are about the match or storyline. Or if its a hype promo its about the caracter instead of just him/her talking about how great they are.
Setting the scene: A promo that gave a clear picture of the scene will score better here.
Spelling/Grammer: Self Explanitory.
Overall Quality: In general what the judge thought of the promo.
Lets say someone scores 7, 6, 4, 8, 6. Thats 31 out of 50. Doubled is 62 meaning a score of 6.2 for the overall score.
This will hopefully result in more people promoing consistantly aswell as showing you exactly why you won or lost.
