Re: Alice in Wonderland (2010) - Preview & Discussion
I actually liked Burtons version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory better. The first one was great and everything, but it was just way too musical for my liking, I hated the part when Charlies mum starting singing.
Either way, he's a great director, personally my favorite film by him is The Nightmare Before Christmas, the film itself shows he's not just interested in drawing, whilst the graphics where great, the storyline itself was really imaginative. He's a genius, his style is consistant and he puts a different spin on every single film he has made to set it apart from the last.

I know, lol. Which is probably why i preferred Burtons version. I hate musicals, and the only exceptions to that are Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Sweeny Todd.
