LOTR was the only good thing Peter Jackson ever did.

How many of his films have you seen beyond King Kong and the LOTR Trilogy?

Re: The Hobbit

I liked King Kong and loved the LOTR so basically this will be a must-see for me.

Re: The Hobbit

The Lord of the Rings films were the most boring, overated, long winded thing I've ever had the displeasure to sit through. Granted, it also plays into my hatred of CGI, but I honestly hated them.

Which begs the question.....why did you bother with them at all then? Especially the last two?

I thought the book was awful, so hopefully the movie is better. The bridge movie is what I'm stoked about. Lots of really good shit from all the appendices that can be used.

Because if you have an opinion about something you know nothing about, it pretty much makes you an idiot.

I'll always give things like that the benefit of the doubt. That's the reason I sat through the third Matrix film after I watched the second.

Maybe I'm just a glutton for punishment.
