Oh this movie has been stewing for a nice while. I bet it will be fantastic. One twist after another.
I bet you either Gale or Sydney will get killed off. I personally hope it's Sydney because I like Gale more.
It says expect alot of old characters to return.
That makes me question the return of Randy Meeks, Tatum Meeks, Cotton Weary... If they bring a supernatural element into it will honestly blow though. Not Clive Barker, John Carpenter, Dario Argento, Eli Roth or Rob Zombie could do it. Rob Zombie would just make the entire series trash in about the course of the first 20 minutes. Dario Argento would make the plot significantly more puzzling then the first three. I say leave the dead characters dead, and don't bring any of them back by saying they didn't really die.

I enjoyed the original Scream because it "Broke the 4th wall" so to speak and acknowledged other horror movies. So in a way, it was a different type of horror movie. And I also enjoyed the climax - having 2 killers was innovative and caught me off guard. But they really should have stopped after the first one and left it alone.
This is the problem with Hollywood today. Almost every new movie seems to be a remake, a sequel, or an idea stolen from a different movie.

Tatum was not Randy's sister. Just trust me on this. My Scream knowledge is rusty, but not that rusty. I can watch the movie on mute and know what's going on and the line being said.
Also, I will not allow anyone to tell me that this is going to be fantastic. So far they have ruined the Saw Trilogy, destroyed Indiana Jones for me, made pointless Rambo and Rocky sequels, and are looking to do the same to Ghostbusters and Scream.
Jamie Kennedy (Randy) has already been approached to do this movie from what I've been told, which makes it either a prequel, or just plain fucking stupid.
