Team THC captain Diego Sanchez in in action this week when he goes to war with Team Sawyer new boy Clay Guida. Sanchez recently moved down to the Lightweight division and made his debut in the weight class with a unanimous decision victory over Joe Stevenson, a fight that earned fight of the night honours, now he looks to continue on to make it two in two at 155. The always exciting Guida however has had mixed success in the UFC, but since losing to Roger Huera back in December 2007 he is on a three fight winning streak including a very impressive split decision victory of young Nate Diaz in a fight that also earned fight of the night honours. No matter what the outcome is, an exciting fight is on the cards here.
Team Total new boy Nate Diaz is looking to bounce back from his defeat in the UFC when he goes against another fighter looking to bounce back from defeat, Joe Stevenson. Before losing the split decision to Clay Guida, young Diaz was on an impressive five fight winning streak inside the octagon including the victory over Manny Gamburyan that earned him his UFC contract. He is now out to show that this was only a bump on the road to success by putting Stevenson down for his third straight UFC defeat.
Fighting for Team Gladiator is Joey Villasenor who is up against Evangelista "Cyborg" Santos. The Mexican hitman looks to add to the three straight wins he has totalled up by stopping Santos and making it four.
Finally, fighting to lift Team Tapout is Eddie Alvarez who is looking to conquer the Bellator 155 lbs tournement when he goes up against Toby Imada. Alvarez has gotten to the finals by submitted both Greg Loughran in the first round of the tournement and Eric Reynolds in the second round of the tournement. Now only Imada stands in the way of Alvarez and tournement victory.

Well you better hope so or you go back to square one, a loss for Sanchez would nullify the points you just got from Swick. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
