Concept

Every week on Tuesdays, team managers will select a fighter from their team to represent the team for the weekly team battle. We have an even ammount of team so every team will always have an opponent. The fixtures will be randomly drawn out by me and the fixtures will be made public so that people know who they are up against.

How the winners are determined

We will determine the winner by a simple vote where only people involved in CFL may vote, excluding the team managers participating in the actual battle. However, we want clear reasoning to why, not just "GSP ftW" for example.

Points

The winning fighter will earn his team 10 points to go towards the CFL standings and as we do have an equal ammount of teams there is every chance we could get a tie. In this case, both fighters will earn their team 5 points. These battles do not count as a fight fought though, that stays as being real fights.

Restrictions

There is restrictions on picks. Your team captain can only be picked once over the season. You may not pick the same fighter two weeks in a row. You must select all ranks throughout your roster at least once in the season, meaning that you must use all of your weights and your wildcard. This however does not mean that for example you use your middleweight and then trade him that you have to use your new middleweight. Once you have used your middleweight once you are not obliged to use him again, although there is no stopping you from using him again, should you choose to.

I hope that, that is a lot clearer than the first time.

It makes a lot more sense now. I'm not entirely convinced but I voted yes, as it should add something and make things a bit more interesting.

I'm still kind of confused. Is it like a simulation fight, where people vote who they think would win or something?

Well the votes wouldn't necesarilly be on who would win because we will more than likely have different weights against each other. It is basically, who is the better fighter respectively, the votes can go on anything really as long as they have valid reasoning.

The only thing I don't like is how we can only use our captain once, so what if our captain is the best one on our roster we shouldn't be punished because of it, the only rules should be we cannot use the same fighter two weeks in a row and we must use all fighters by the end of the season (which you obviously already have).

i vote yes but i'm still not convinced tbh.

and suffy, your not punished because you can only use him once. he can earn double points. if you then use him several times, then why would you need your other fighters for. it's about the whole team. it's logical to me you use all your fighters, and when u used all of them once, then it starts all over and you can use him again...

Think about it though, you are already getting benefits from your captains in normal play as they earn you double points for real life fights. I personally think that the rule is justified.

So it now stands at 7 saying yes with 4 saying no.

The only person able to vote that hasn't is Jeff (Omega) but obviously it is still going to be yes either way.

I would like to know why people have voted no because I know why Mikk voted no and Suffy explained why he voted no. GD and Will however just voted no with no hint of an explanation.
