Draft


You can pick anyone who has a record on Sherdog, which is basically anyone in the MMA world. This is NOT limited to UFC.

During the draft, when it is a members turn to pick, he has 12 hours to choose. Should this 12 hour period expire, the next person along is allowed to choose before this person. However, should this member pick the fighter after the 12 hour period has expired and the next person still hasn't picked, the selection does stand.


Okay so after the sign up has been completed I will put the names into a random sequence generator and get our order. Once I have that, the draft will run in rounds from the first name to last, once the last person has picked, round 1 is over. The names will then flip around so that the last person in round 1 picks first.

Weights do not matter, as long as you fill your weights you can pick fighters in which ever order you like.

Roster

Your roster is made up of 7 fighters, set out like so...

1 Heavyweight: Any fighter currently fighting at Heavyweight
1 Light Heavyweight: Any fighter currently fighting at Lightweight
1 Middleweight: Any fighter currently fighting at Middleweight
1 Welterweight: Any fighter currently fighting at Welterweight
1 Lightweight: Any fighter currently fighting at Lightweight
1 Featherweight/Bantamweight: Any fighter currently fighting at Featherweight or Bantamweight
1 Wildcard: Your wildcard is a fighter from any weight class

1 fighter out of your team must be picked as your team captain and yes it can even be your wildcard is you wish. Your team captain will get double points for any points he scores.

Fighters that you pick must be male. (Meaning, no picking Carano or Cyborg)

Scoring

A fighter wins a fight: 10 points
A fighter wins a fight by submission/tko/ko in round 1: 12 points
A fighter wins a fight by submission/tko/ko in round 2: 10 points
A fighter wins a fight by submission/tko/ko in round 3: 8 points
A fighter wins a fight by submission/tko/ko in round 4: 6 points
A fighter wins a fight by submission/tko/ko in round 5: 4 points
A fighter wins a fight by split/unanimous decision: 2 points
A fighter loses a fight: -10 points

Trading and dropping

Trade window

The trading window opens after every UFC PPV (just PPV’s not Fight Night), this will happen every month regardless of when the PPV is in the month, once the window has opened, you have a period of 7 days to trade and pick up fighters. However you may only pick up 3 new fighters per window.

Dropping fighters

You may drop a fighter at any time you like, however you cannot pickup a replacement fighter until the trade window opens.
