A new idea for the BTB Section

I would like to pitch an idea for a new feature for BTB

Could we start a new section exclusively for BTB, where the person typing...can type out a single match. Now please hear me out....the person could type down a single match but there's a catch. They would have to abide but certain rules in order to do one.

Rules for doing Single BTB matches

The booker would have to provide a decent and somewhat detailed backstory for the match
(Explaining why the match is taking place, explaining the storyline of the match)

The booker would have to provide the date the match took place
(1980s,1990s,2000s)

The booker would have to provide what company the match took place (WWE,WCW,ECW,TNA, NWA, AWA, ROH and etc)

The booker would have to provide the event
(WrestleMania, WrestleMania 25, Starccade, Bound For Glory, Harcore Heaven and etc)

The booker would have to provide where the match took place by Country, State and Venue
(Reliant Stadium, Wachovia Center, Silver Dome, Tokyo Dome, ECW Arena and etc)

The booker would have to type out a whole match being that it is all in one post
(Being that there is only one match your typing, the least to do is type it all out)

All the booker's matches would have to remain in one thread
(If I did one I have to keep it all 1 thread, and if Ken did one he would do the same)

Provide other matches on the card with a quick result
(If your match isn't a Main Event...give the results to the Main Event and others on the card)

Deceased wrestlers can be used only if they were still alive in the time frame of your match

Provide the broadcast team
(Although you don't have to type out what they are saying, but let it be know who is calling it)

After each match...you can do a different one from a different era if you choose to
(Think of this as something like WWE 24/7 providing different matches from over the years)

I thought this would be a great idea, and maybe alot would participate in something like this. But again I am only pitching this idea...hopefully some think it's a good idea. And if there is enough people who like this could we start a section like this?

As of now, people are allowed to post matches/promos if they so desire. Providing nothing gets out of hand in terms of amount of threads made or how small the matches are, I personally find it perfectly fine for people to post matches as is. And I like your idea for a template and most using it would be beneficial however I don't see it as a necessity.

I agree it'd certainly be a cool feature but I doubt many would do it and since the section isn't booming to the point where we need to set rules, I don't feel the need to add any.

The point of a BTB is creative, and if you have to follow a certain set of rules, pretty much ruins the "creative" part of the BTB.

If you have a bunch of matches you want to post, make a thread saying "Bernie's matches" and put it in there. It's a fine idea for you.

But don't make a separate section when most people won't do it.
