Professional Wrestling Enterprise: Press Release
January 1st 2009: FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE.
Professional Wrestling Enterprise(PWE) has announced that it's first event will be taking place on Long Island, New York on Friday, January 3rd 2008. The event will be taking place at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, and can seat over 8,000 fans to help usher in Professional Wrestling Enterprise. In coalition with each territory, PWE is run under a board of directors that will help coordinate it's every move. Several financial backers for PWE include P.C Richard & Son, Sports Illustrated Magazine, and ESPN. ESPN will air Professional Wrestling Enterprise shows in the Northeast region of the country each Friday night at 11:00 P.M Eastern time. The one and a half hour show is set to begin airing this Friday night. Such stars to be featured on Professional Wrestling Enterprise are "The Game" Triple H, "The Animal" Batista, Shelton Benjamin, "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels and Homicide of LAX. These stars have been featured on national television and look to bring prestige to PWE as it approaches it's first complete show.
The Professional Wrestling Enterprise Board Of Directors has announced that it will be instituting a new policy. This policy is that title shots will not be based off of prior win/loss records, and everyone will get a clean slate. In order to be eligible for a title shot, regardless of win/loss records, the participant must maintain an overall winning percentage of OVER .600%. The participant can choose to aim after the Junior Heavyweight Championship or the World Heavyweight Championship. No title is more prestigious then the other, as both are seen as holding a high honor within the company.
Matches for the first PWE show "Golden Streak" Will be announced shortly.

For the past 20 years, professional wrestling has been littered with being mainstream, therefore cheating fans of several territories their right to frequent shows, which has cause America to become disenfranchised with wrestling, except minor boom periods in the sport between 1985-1992, and 1997-2001.
Wrestling has returned to it's roots, and the northeast territory, PWE, is looking to bring the most exciting wrestling action you can see anywhere, including more emphasis on the actual sport of wrestling rather then so much of the entertainment aspect. The Territories system is run by a board of directors who will oversee all major doings.
With that said, we have already been introduced to the two divisions in which superstars can compete- the World Heavyweight Championship division and the Junior Heavyweight Championship division. With that said, several rankings systems and assignments into separate divisions have been created. The standings will rank the champion, and the top contenders for the belt, along with the competitors win/loss record and winning percentage.
With that said, one wrestler has been added to the Professional Wrestling Enterprise official roster. The wrestler have been picked up off of the Free Agents list, and can be used by any territory. Depending on the time of the show, some wrestlers can work several shows a day, time permitting.
-Erick Stevens- The brute powerhouse from Florida is still a rookie in the world of professional wrestling. Best known for his time in Ring Of Honor, he is also a former Full Impact Pro Heavyweight Champion. Stevens, who is known for his brutal striking ability and resilience in the ring, has been signed on to PWE wrestling in order to hope to secure a legacy in the world of wrestling.
With that said, Professional Wrestling Enterprise's first official show "Golden Streak" has been announced for January 3rd 2009. Several matches will be announced in the coming hours. However, right now, PWE is releasing the official list of divisions. The wrestlers were assigned to their divisions, and both have equal prestige.
Also, we regret to announce that PWE had signed several stars prematurely. We would like to wish Chuck Taylor, Gran Akuma and Icarus (Team F.I.S.T) best of luck in all of their future employers. They are to be added to the free agency list.

So it is written, so it shall come to pass. For the past several years, with wrestling dwindling down a long chain, change has been needed. With PWE's first official show, Golden Streak, coming to fruition on January 3rd 2009, officials have gatherered and are here to report several matches for the first show in PWE history.
For one, it seems that Triple H and Batista, former teammates, have been talking about getting some sort of gang back together. Although were not too sure what that means, a huge main event has been signed for the first official show. The main event will see four heavyweight competitors slug it out in what is sure to be a huge tag team main event.
The match will see Triple H and Batista teaming up to take on Shelton Benjamin and Erick Stevens. The match may seem out of left field, but under further investigation, is not.
Erick Stevens had contacted out offices and demanded to be put in a high profile match in his first match in order to prove that he has what it takes in order to be a major player in PWE. PWE, not wanting to squash the young wrestlers hopes, has decided to award him with a chance to take on two former world champions.
Another addition to the match is the cocky Shelton Benjamin. Benjamin, who had been an angry young man in previous years, had called the PWE offices and has apparently vowed to change his ways. He told the offices that he's glad to be recognized in such a big division. The choice seemed natural since Shelton has pinned both Triple H and Batista in the past.
When two former world champions collide against two potential champions at Golden Streak, what could possibly come out of this? It is bound to be a spectacular bout.

Matt Hardy Vs. Christopher Daniels
Three years ago, Matt Hardy made a triumphant debut in ROH after being fired from the WWE. In ROH, when he collided with Daniels, the two had a bitter struggle, but in the end, Daniels was able to pull through with a huge victory over the "Angelic Diablo". Daniels had went on to moderate fame in TNA, as Hardy soared in WWE. With these two colliding, something has to give, and the winner will be one step closer to a shot at the PWE Heavyweight Championship.
Montel Vontavious Porter Vs. Hernandez
The ultimate clash of styles. Porter, the rich, brash, cocky, arrogant star from Miami Beach, Florida has been a loudmouth his entire career. Although he has those traits, he does possess a very big one: talent. MVP will be up against his potential;y biggest challenge yet: Hernandez. One half of the Latin American Xchange, Hernandez. The heavyweight combines a mix of speed and power that has rarely been seen in this sport prior. A former tag team champion in his own right, Hernandez looks to take a huge step here in PWE as he faces off against MVP. Which superstar will be able to prevail in this bout?
