Yes, here I am again, with another EWR Be The Booker. I have thought of a backstory. Well, not really, but here is one. This scenario started on October 2008, and I am currently March 2009. Many differences have occurred since I took over the WWE.
In October of 2008, Linda McMahon, the owner of WWE, announced that there would be a new head booker for the WWE. That man's name was Kizza. Not known at all in any other companies, this man was only known as a fan of the product. But some of the decisions he made would change what the WWE was known as.
His first issue of business was a total cleanout of the roster. That included Florida Championship Wrestling, the current developmental territory. Most of those wrestlers were cleared out. Only Drew McIntyre, Matt Cappotelli, Ryan Braddock and TJ Wilson were kept. All the rest were seen as having little to no potential.
Since then, Kizza has scoured some of the best independent talent to be the future stars of the WWE. Wrestlers like Chris Hero, The Briscoes, Jimmy Jacobs, Tyler Black and El Generico were all hired and put down in developmental. Impressed with their progress so far, expect to see a few of them in the future.
Secondly, a main roster cleanout was issued. Many wrestlers got their future endeavors, including the entire womens division. Kizza saw no need for them in the WWE. A few people backstage were furious with this decision, mainly Bill Beherens, who later left over it. But many saw it as a step forward for the WWE. Some notable firing were Hornswoggle, D'Lo Brown, Santino Marella, Steve Austin and other lowercarded guys like Chuck Palumbo, Scotty Goldman, Super Crazy, Deuce among many others.
Thirdly, after only two shows, ECW was pulled from the Sci-Fi network by WWE. This was seen as a shocker of a decision, because many of the guys on that show just got filtered into the midcard ranks of RAW and Smackdown. But now with the growing roster size, after scouring through TNA, ROH and AAA/CMLL for the best talent available, there are indeed rumours of bringing back a third show, but not named ECW, as Kizza feels that although they own the ECW name, it shouldn't be brought back for another run of talent development.
There have also been a couple of low points along the way. Triple H, WWE's trademark superstar, was injured while working out in his home gym. He tore a calf and is required to have 9 months out of the ring. This happened on the 3rd of November, so currently in March, he has 5 months to go. This is, unless Vince and Linda agree on a radical new surgery that cuts 3 months out of the rehabilitation process. Also currently joining Triple H on the injured list are Gregory Helms and Vladmir Kozlov. Helms had just won the U.S Title when he broke a leg, and Vladmir injured his leg against Jeff Hardy on Smackdown, and wrestled the next week where backstage after the match he tried to put weight on it and snapped the main bone in his leg.
In December, WWE made a big decision. Montel Vontavious Porter, or M.V.P for short, had his life failing behind the scenes due to a crippling drug addiction. WWE sent him to rehab, and since returning at the beginning of March, he has revealed a new side to his life, and will soon be getting a believed push on Smackdown.
One thing that Kizza also wanted to put more focus on was the tag division. He thought that currently, it was fairly weak. So he went and signed teams like LAX, Team 3D, Beer Money, Murder City Machine Guns, Age Of The Fall (FCW) and The Briscoes (FCW). Smackdown is currently host of a tag revolution, with 5 teams currently on Smackdown. Hawkins & Ryder, The Colons, Miz & Morrison, LAX and the newly formed team of Big Show & Mark Henry.
Inside the first month of taking over WWE as head booker, Kizza made many new signings. AJ Styles, Abyss, Bobby Lashley, Raven, Rob Van Dam, Jerry Lynn, Samoa Joe, Rhino, Austin Aries, Low Ki, Eric Young, Black Reign, Takeshi Morishima, MCMG, Team 3D, Christopher Daniels, LAX, Beer Money, Mistico & Kaz were all signed to replace the void left after most of the roster being released.
It is currently March 2009, with WWE about to head into their biggest show of the year, Wrestlemania 25. There is only one main feud currently going, which is Edge vs The Undertaker (87 Heat). Other feuds include William Regal vs Charlie Haas (82), MCMG vs Team 3D (82), Rey Mysterio vs Chavo Guerrero (93), Abyss vs Batista (79), Umaga vs Mr. Kennedy (90), Raven vs Bobby Lashley (86) & AJ Styles vs The Brian Kendrick (83). Only 2 of those feuds are looking to end at Wrestlemania in big gimmick matches. Raven vs Bobby Lashley is believed to be a Hell In A Cell match and AJ Styles vs The Brian Kendrick in an I Quit match.
Only last month, WWE was rocked by the fact that one of their biggest starts was leaving the wrestling business. John Cena, at only 31 years of age, was leaving wrestling to concentrate on a Hollywood career. Many of his best friends were deeply upset at this announcement, with many feeling that he had left for no real reason. They felt betrayed, but also wanted to take his spot, as he was one of the top guys on RAW. Currently, a battle between Orton and CM Punk is on the cards to battle of his spot. Also retiring that month was Finlay.
So yeah, that's a quick backstory.

I already know pretty much what's going on, and it looks good. Let's see if you can get Haas further over. I know getting Abyss further over is impossible though. >_>
