Backstory: Coming off the heels of Bound For Glory, TNA realized that with the ratings in a stagnant place that something needed to be done. Fans were slowly turning on the product they saw before them because of the ways that Vince Russo and Dutch Mantle were going about things. Dixie Carter saw the pain and Misery that Jeff Jarrett was receiving on a weekly basis due to the intense pressure from Spike T.V. to change the direction of the program for the sake of Ratings. Dixie Carter saw the wealth of talent that had surfaced on the Independent Scene for a few years now and even scouted a few to come into the TNA Product in the likes of Jimmy Rave, Samoa Joe and even Homicide years back but at this rate, she figured that with the WWE's children oriented program that pure wrestling fans needed another outlet to watch some of the greatest talent in the profession today. She noticed the massive wealth in her roster that wanted to perform for the love of Professional Wrestling but with the mass exodus of Talent, that would either mean to cut alot of talent or develop a 2nd brand of TNA.
It didn't take Dixie long to figure out that since Fans craved more TNA now more than ever, that the 2nd brand she had wanted to create was just right under her fingertips. With this second Brand, TNA was able to branch out more and create more of a fan following for Ratings and satisfy Spike T.V. The perfect name and General Manager For this rigorous position happened to be Nick Malone and Robert Drulia to take control of the books for TNA. With the firing of Russo and Mantle, this put both Drulia and Malone in an interesting position. They had this massive roster with no way on how to book all of them onto one show. Then, a few weeks later, Dixie Carter had informed both Malone and Drulia that she had purchased Ring of Honor which would mean all the talent from the Roster would now be handed down to both Nick Malone and Robert Drulia. While Robert took control of TNA: Impact, Nick was now in control of TNA: Revolution and looked eager to turn the wrestling world upside down with wrestling that the fans wanted to see.
Wrestling at the purest form and entertaining to the rest of the masses that Revolution has started to help TNA on a weekly basis maintain more solid ratings. As you can see below, The roster is outline for Revolution after an exciting Talent Draft took place 2 weeks ago. The first episode of TNA: Revolution from the Impact Center down in Orlando, Florida, should be up relatively soon.

Robert Drulia responded to the trade offer from Nick Malone with this: "Although the trade is very interesting, Petey Williams is hot on momentum from almost winning the X-Division Championship this past Thursday. As a rebuttal trade, I offer Chris Hero & The Motor City Machine Guns for Muhammad Hassan & Beer Money."

We got word earlier tonight that Nick Malone offered Beer Money, Muhammad Hassan & Naomichi Marufuji or Jerry Lynn in exchange for The Motor City Machine Guns & Petey Williams. After looking over the trade and the options very carefully, Drulia had this to say about it: "Petey Williams is a great wrestler and a valuable asset, The Motor City Machine Guns are great and valuable asset; however Robert Roode notably is the greatest asset and most valuable commodity possibly in this business alone. The other three are good but they are just sprinkles on the treat, as Rober Roode is easily worth The Motor City Machine Guns and Petey Williams so with that said; I have signed to accept the trade(with Jerry Lynn). It will be effective immediatly this up coming iMPACT!. Don't miss it.
