I like the product your putting out, especially considering you have it going for so long. Makes me want to push Monday Night Wars 2001 in the same sort of way. I think I will keep on reading
Hope I didn't make you feel snubbed by not giving comments like I said I would, I've had my nose buried in a book I just picked up and haven't bothered with anything on the internet. Anyway, there seems to be a few new exciting things going on in your WWE universe right now, but all in all it kind of feels the same as usual. However, I am looking forward to the Abyss/Taker thing, which strikes me as odd because I've never really cared much for Abyss. But hopefully you can do something special with it other than "I'm big"... "I'm big too"... "Okay, let's feud!" sort of thing. Nothing wrong with that if you can elevate it beyond that though. GAB is shaping up to look excellent and I can't wait to see how the HIAC ends up.
What do you mean "All in all it kind of feels the same as usual" ?
Oh by the way, since you're talking about Abyss and Undertaker feuding, did you read the Smackdown from higher up on page 17? It's in full with an opening promo between the two, the only written out promo for the feud so far. Like I said before, I'm not the type of person who likes storylines, promos and all that, I just like good wrestling and stuff to be wrestling based so I really sometimes don't know what I can have two people feud over, I just know that I want the match to happen.

I just think it's a bit hard to get interested when it's mainly a match-based diary, I guess that's just me. Don't worry, do it however you want, but when it comes to the advancement of the storylines you have I didn't feel there was anything that stuck out in my mind while reading your recent shows. Still, this is really good and GAB is shaping up to be awesome.

July 6th 2009;Fargo, North Dakota
Tonight's broadcast of Monday Night Raw is kicked off with an opening video package highlighting the events of last week's edition of Raw as well as this past Friday's edition of Smackdown. After the video package ends, we fade into the arena with the official Raw theme blasting throughout as the crowd stands on their feet cheering, ready for this edition of Monday Night Raw. The camera pans around the arena a couple times before stopping in front of the stage where a huge pyro display is set off as the crowd continues to cheer. We do one more pan around the arena before we stop in front of Jim Ross and Jerry 'The King' Lawler at their announce table.
Jim Ross: Welcome everyone to the July 6th edition of Monday Night Raw! I'm Jim Ross here in Fargo, North Dakota with my broadcast partner, Jerry 'The King' Lawler! What a show we've got planned for you tonight here folks!
Jerry Lawler: Oh you said it, JR! Tonight we've got Shawn Michaels going one on one with William Regal and if HBK can beat Regal here tonight, he will face MVP for the World Heavyweight Championship at the Great American Bash like HBK requested!
Jim Ross: Also tonight in the main event, MVP is going to be putting his Intercontinental Championship on the line against the Number One Contender, Jack Swagger who beat Petey Williams two weeks ago here on Raw to earn the title shot against the champion, here tonight!
Jerry Lawler: That should be a fantastic match, JR! I can't wait to see that one!
Jim Ross: No doubt about that, King! Also here tonight we will be seeing the debut of Japanese star, KENTA! He is a member of the Pro Wrestling NOAH roster where he is the current GHC Junior Heavyweight Champion, for the third time might I add! He said he wanted to come here to the WWE to show the WWE fans what Japanese wrestling is all about! He is dedicating his time here in the WWE to his former employer, mentor and friend, the late great, Mitsuharu Misawa who passed away on June 13th of this year at the age of 46 after having major damage done to his spine in a match over in Japan.
Jerry Lawler: I can't wait to see what KENTA has in store for the WWE fans as well as whoever his opponent is here tonight!
MVP's theme hits the arena and the crowd boos as MVP makes his way out onto the stage in a suit and tie with his World Heavyweight Championship around his waist with the Intercontinental Championship around his stomach just above the world title belt. He does his theatrics at the top of the ramp, taunts the crowd and makes his way down the ramp towards the ring.
Lillian: Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome the Intercontinental and World Heavyweight Champion, Montel Vontavious Porter, M-V-P!
MVP gets down to the ringside area and walks up the ring steps onto the apron as the crowd boos at him. Lillian hands the microphone off to him before getting out of the ring to take her seat at ringside. MVP's theme slowly fades away as the crowd continues to boo.
MVP: Last week, Shawn Michaels beat JBL in a match to move on in the Mini-Gold Rush Tournament and tonight he faces William Regal to determine whether or not he will face me for this big gold belt around my waist, at the Great American Bash! Let me tell you something Shawn, you may have gotten an easy victory last week against JBL but tonight, you aren't going to get past William Regal here tonight on Raw and you certainly aren't going to get my title at the Great American Bash. Shawn, you've had your time in the spotlight, they've come and gone by many years, now it's time for me to have my time without some old legend such as yourself trying to overshadow me. You got your one World Heavyweight Championship reign seven years ago which you weren't even able to hold onto it for any longer than a month! Yeah, I've only been World Heavyweight Champion for almost three months but I can assure you and everyone else that I will be champion for a long time comin! Triple H couldn't take my title, CM Punk couldn't take my title and neither will HBK, Shawn Michaels!
~Crowd Boos
MVP: Yeah, if you somehow do get past Regal here tonight, we will have a classic match at Great American Bash, not because of you but because of my superior ring skills and my ring psychology that can't be matched. I mean, look at my match against CM Punk from Vengeance! All me, that match was good because of me! Shawn Michaels, you are acclaimed to be one of the best workers here in the WWE, I beg the differ! Once you step into the ring with me at the Great American Bash, if you make it there, you'll find out first hand who just is the best worker in the WWE! ~Crowd boos
MVP: If you somehow make it to face me for my title at the Great American Bash and after I retain my title, you people will see that I'm not just talking the talk, I'm walking the walk as well and I'll continue to walk the walk as long as I feel like it because I am the best thing to ever happen to the WWE! With the continuation of my title reign, I will continue to bring prestige and value to this big gold belt that you see around my waist! I'm not ever going to vacate my title because I lost my smile, a To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. a matter Mr.Heart Break Kid! You lose your smile? Too bad so sad! You won't ever see me losin' my smile then just disappearing! Ya see, I won't disappear because I'll keep defending my title to keep my spot as the best thing in the WWE! Shawn Michaels, you're time in the spotlight is over and if you do make it past Regal tonight, I'll make sure that I'm the one to end your time in the spotlight!
MVP drops the microphone as his theme hits the arena and the crowd boos. Raw begins to fade into a commercial with MVP posing with his belts in the middle of the ring as the crowd showers him with boos.
**Commercial Break**
Jim Ross: Welcome back everyone and up next we will see the debut of KENTA in a match against the former Intercontinental Champion, Elijah Burke! Should be a fantastic match, King!
Jerry Lawler: Oh I agree, JR! I've seen KENTA wrestle before and he's one of the best young stars this business has to offer!
Jim Ross: Indeed he is, King! KENTA has wrestled here in America before over in the Ring Of Honor promotion. Let's get this match started!
*Entrances and Introductions*
Match #1 - Singles Match
Elijah Burke vs. KENTA
*Bell Rings*
Opening moments of the match we see the two lock up in the center of the ring with a traditional collar and elbow tie up quickly broken by KENTA who begins to hit Burke with his kick combination then a slap to the face of Burke. The two lock up again, Burke pushes KENTA back into the corner, the referee begins the count and the two have a clean break. KENTA walks out of the corner, slaps Burke again, grabs him, turns around and pushes him into the corner. KENTA hits Burke with some stiff forearm shots, a couple kicks as well as a couple slaps to the face again. KENTA grabs the hand of Burke, pulls him out of the corner, bounces him off the ropes and hits him with an arm drag right into an armbar. After a few moments KENTA breaks the hold, hits Burke with a hard kick to the back then kicks Burke in the head. KENTA gets out of the ring onto the apron, jumps over the top rope landing right by Burke's head then hits him with a kick to the side of the head.
Mid match we see KENTA still in control showing the WWE audience what he's all about. KENTA has Burke in the corner while KENTA is standing in the opposite corner. KENTA runs at Burke and hits him with a high arched big boot right to the face which sends Burke down to his knees in the corner. KENTA pulls Burke up to his feet, hits him with a few slaps, a spinning reverse slap followed by a roundhouse kick which has Burke stumbling around the center of the ring, KENTA bounces off the ropes and hits Burke with a running single leg high knee strike which sends Burke down to the mat. KENTA goes for the pinfall but Burke kicks out at the count of two. KENTA gets up to his feet, pulls Burke up but Burke hits him with a right hand, Burke quickly grabs KENTA, hits him with a vertical suplex, pulls KENTA back up then hits him with a belly to back suplex into a cover but KENTA kicks out at two.

Burke has KENTA in the middle of the ring trading forearm shots. KENTA regains control after hitting Burke with a flurry of stiff forearm shots, KENTA kicks Burke in the gut, irish whips him into the ropes, grabs him with the Flapjack Lift but drops Burke into a cutter. KENTA goes for the cover but Burke kicks out at two. KENTA pulls Burke up, hits him with some more kicks, grabs Burke, turns him around, grabs him in position for the Tiger Suplex then connects with a Bridging Tiger Suplex to earn the three count over the former Intercontinental Champion, Elijah Burke!
*Bell Rings*
Winner - KENTA via pinfall (Bridging Tiger Suplex - 11:14)
KENTA's theme hits the arena and the crowd gives a mild pop as they were impressed with what they saw. The referee quickly hands KENTA his GHC Junior Heavyweight Championship belt then raises KENTA's arm in victory.
Lillian: Here is your winner by pinfall, KENTA!
KENTA holds up his title then gets out of the ring to head backstage as Burke slowly rolls out of the ring to head backstage as well. Raw begins to fade into a commercial as KENTA walks backstage.
**Commercial Break**
Jim Ross: Welcome back everyone to Monday Night Raw! Moments ago KENTA made his debut here in the WWE and he defeated the former Intercontinental Champion, Elijah Burke with a beautiful bridging tiger suplex! Perfectly executed!
Jerry Lawler: I agree, JR! I can't wait to see more of KENTA here in the WWE! I have a feeling that he'll turn out to be a big star here in the WWE and maybe he'll even pick up some gold here as well!
Jim Ross: Yeah, he's already GHC Junior Heavyweight Champion for the third time and I'd imagine that he'd love to win some gold here in the WWE as well!
Edge's theme suddenly hits the arena and the crowd boos as Edge makes his way out onto the stage in street clothes as mist fills up the stage area. In the ring The Cutting Edge set is set-up where Edge will host a new edition of The Cutting Edge with his special guest, Kurt Angle. Edge gets down to the ringside area, walks up the ring steps onto the apron and gets into the ring. He grabs a microphone that is laying on one of the chairs set up. The crowd continues to boo as Edge's theme slowly fades away.
Edge: At Vengeance last month, Kurt Angle and Stone Cold defeated Randy Orton and myself in a tag team match. The week before Vengeance, I raised the stakes of the match, telling Kurt that if Stone Cold and he beat us at Vengeance, at the Great American Bash, each Stone Cold and Kurt would get either one of us in a singles match. Well, Randy obviously chose Stone Cold to add to his list of legends he has killed. Tonight, the special guest on The Cutting Edge, the man who I am putting myself in a match with at the Great American Bash to hold the deal, Kurt Angle!
The crowd cheers as Kurt Angle's theme hits the arena. Kurt makes his way out onto the stage in his ring gear, he walks down the ramp, gets down to the ringside area and walks up the ring steps onto the apron. He gets into the ring, grabs the second microphone laying on the other chair and his theme begins to fade away as the crowd cheers for him.
Edge: Welcome Kurt to The Cutting Edge! Now since I'm a fair and honest man, I'm going to give you a match against me at the Great American Bash just like I wagered! I mean, you're still down for that right? Frankly, I really hope you are because it's going to feel so good when I pin you in the middle of the ring again like I did so many times in the past! If you remember, I was the one who made you bald when I beat you in that Hair versus Hair match back in 2002! Remember that Kurt? Sure ya do.
Kurt Angle: Yeah I remember and just so you know, I'm perfectly fine with being bald! Yeah, I'm still down with that wager except one little thing, I don't want you at the Great American Bash in two weeks, I want you in a match right here, right now, in front of all these people here on Monday Night Raw! What you say to that, Edge!? Huh?
Edge: Well I'd say that's awfully rude of you to change the wager and proposing that we cut my segment's length just so we can have a match here tonight on Raw in front of all these good for nothin' people that adore you so much for being a quote "Real American Hero" Give it a rest, Kurt! As I planly told you before, you left the WWE back in 2006, you come back and act like you can just get your spot back just like that. In case you didn't know Kurt, people like me have taken your spot and while taking your spot I've become a three time World Heavyweight Champion and a two time WWE Champion just in two years! I've become one of the most successful superstars in this company and I plan to keep it that way! I'm not going to give my spot back up to someone like you! And actually, I'm getting pretty angry right now so about that match tonight, you're on! Right here, right now tonight here on Raw! After this next commercial break, I'll be happy to beat you again in the middle of the ring fair and square!
Edge drops the mic as his theme hits the arena. Edge and Kurt stare eachother down face to face as Raw fades into a commercial.
**Commercial Break**
Jim Ross: Welcome back everyone and as you can see in the ring stand Edge and Kurt Angle, ready for their match here tonight, Edge still in his street clothes, his denim vest and blue jeans that he likes to wear every so often!
Jerry Lawler: Can you believe this, JR! We're gonna see Edge versus Kurt Angle right here tonight on Raw! These two have had such good matches in the past!
Jim Ross: Oh I believe it, King. I'm surprised that they just don't want to wait until the Great American Bash but we're about to see a potential classic match!
Match #2 - Singles Match
Edge vs. Kurt Angle
*Bell Rings*
The opening bell sounds as the two men lock up in the center of the ring with a textbook collar and elbow tie up transitioned into a side headlock by Angle, Edge slowly walks over to the ropes, bounces Angle off, Angle releases the hold, bounces off the opposite ropes and hits a shoulder block on Edge which sends Edge down to the mat. Angle bounces off the side ropes of the ring, Edge gets back up to his feet and hits Angle with a quick big boot which sends Angle stumbling back into the ropes. Edge walks forward, kicks Angle in the gut, hits him with a couple right hands, bounces him off the ropes, Angle runs across the ring from the momentum, bounces off the opposite ropes and Edge hits Angle with a spinning wheel kick which sends Kurt down to the mat. Edge quickly goes for a pinfall attempt but Kurt kicks out at the count of two and Edge is already frustrated; hoping he could put away his enemy swiftly but couldn't.
Mid match we see the two brawling on the outside a little bit. Kurt has Edge by the hair and bounces Edge's face off the announce table. Kurt grabs Edge and pushes him back into the ring underneath the bottom rope. Kurt then slides into the ring himself before going for a pinfall attempt on Edge but Edge quickly kicks out at two. Kurt gets up to his feet, pulls Edge up and hits him with a European Uppercut which sends Edge stumbling back into the corner. Kurt walks over, kicks Edge in the gut then hits him with a second European Uppercut. Kurt pulls Edge out of the corner a bit and hits him with an overhead release belly to belly suplex before going for another pinfall attempt but again Edge kicks out at two. Kurt pulls Edge up to his feet but Edge hits Kurt with a right hand, a kick to the gut, goes for the Edgecution but Kurt blocks it, kicks Edge in the gut, turns Edge around and hits him with a quick German Suplex.
Final moments of the match we see the two trading right hands in the center of the ring. Edge bounces off the ropes, goes for the spear but Kurt side steps Edge, grabs Edge, goes for the Angle Slam but Edge gets out of it, gets down behind Angle and hits him with the Edge-O-Matic into a pinfall attempt but Kurt kicks out at two. Edge gets back up to his feet, gets out of the ring and grabs a steel chair from ringside before getting back into the ring. The referee attempts to grab the chair from Edge but Edge pushes him down to the mat. Kurt slowly gets back up to his feet and Edge hits Kurt upside the head with the chair. The referee is down in the corner face first down in the mat after getting a chair pushed in his face. Edge drops the chair and positions it a little ways out from the corner. Edge pulls Kurt up, grabs him, walks over to the corner and sets Kurt up on the top turnbuckle in a seated position. Edge climbs up to the top rope as well, pulls Kurt up to a standing position and hits Kurt with an Edgecution off the top rope right into the chair. Edge then pushes the chair out of the ring and goes for a cover on Kurt. Another referee runs down the ramp, slides under the bottom rope and makes the three count as the crowd boos.
*Bell Rings*
Winner - Edge via pinfall (Edgecution from top rope into chair - 16:37)
Edge slowly gets up to his feet as Kurt lay on the mat knocked out and bleeding from the Edgecution right into a chair. The referee raises Edge's arm up in the air signifying victory as the crowd showers him with boos and Edge just takes it in.
Lillian: Here is your winner by pinfall, Edge!
Edge continues to celebrate his victory. He gets down on the mat beside Kurt, yells at him and taunts him. Edge stands up in the center of the ring and does his taunt in the ring as Raw fades into a commercial and the crowd continues to boo at him.
**Commercial Break**
Jim Ross: Welcome back here to Monday Night Raw everyone and moments ago Edge defeated Kurt Angle in a regular singles match by hitting him with an Edgecution from the top rope right into a steel chair. Now the referee was down after Edge pushed a chair in his face sending him down to the mat. Edge cheated to win this match and I just hope that Kurt doesn't let Edge get away with it!
Jerry Lawler: I wouldn't be surprised if we see these two clash again at the Great American Bash in some sort of hardcore match or something! I mean it'd only be fitting after what Edge just did to Kurt here tonight!
Jim Ross: I'd agree with that, King! Well folks, what a fantastic night it's been so far here tonight on Raw and it's about to get better! Up next we've got Shawn Michaels going one on one with William Regal to determine whether or not HBK will face MVP for the World Heavyweight Championship at the Great American Bash in two weeks! Should be a fantastic match! *Entrances and Introductions*
Match #3 - Singles Match
Shawn Michaels vs. William Regal
*Bell Rings*
Regal and HBK lock up in the center of the ring with a traditional collar and elbow tie up but HBK quickly breaks the hold and hits Regal with a few chops which sends Regal back into the corner. HBK continues to lay down the chops on Regal followed by a series of right hands to the temple. HBK grabs the hand of Regal, pulls him out of the corner, bounces him off the ropes, Regal runs across the ring from the momentum, bounces off the opposite ropes and HBK hits Regal with a back bodydrop. Regal quickly gets back up to his feet, HBK grabs the head of Regal and hits him with a side headlock take down then continues to apply the headlock on Regal down on the mat. After a few moments, Regal slowly gets back up to his feet, elbows HBK in the gut and hits him with a belly to back suplex to break the headlock. Regal gets back up to his feet, pulls HBK up and hits him with a European Uppercut followed by a few textbook right hands to the head. Regal kicks HBK in the gut, walks forward and hits HBK with a Double Underhook Suplex into a cover attempt but HBK kicks out at two.
Mid match we see neither man being dominant for too long before the other comes back with offense. At the moment, Regal is in control over HBK hitting him with the usual stiff forearm shots and right hands. Regal has HBK backed in the corner, hitting him with stiff right hands and knee lifts to the gut. Regal pulls HBK out of the corner, turns him around, clubs HBK in the back, knees him in the lower back then hits him with a Three-quarter Nelson suplex into a cover attempt but HBK kicks out at two as the crowd gasps. Regal gets up to his feet, turns HBK over onto his stomach and hits HBK with an elbow drop to the back of HBK. Regal kneels down on the back of HBK and locks in the Bow and Arrow Stretch on HBK as HBK yells out in pain. It's common knowledge that HBK has had a history of back problems and Regal is trying to exploit them to pick up the victory here tonight to make sure that HBK doesn't get the chance to take the title away from Regal's associate and current World Heavyweight Champion, MVP. After a few moments of not being able to submit HBK, Regal breaks the hold.
Closing moments of the match we see HBK hitting Regal with chops to the chest in the middle of the ring, HBK hits Regal with a right hand which sends Regal down to the mat. HBK pulls up Regal so that Regal's back is facing HBK. HBK grabs Regal and hits him with the Teardrop Suplex that HBK once used as a regular move back in his early years in the business. HBK goes for a cover on Regal but Regal kicks out at two. HBK slowly gets back up to his feet, pulls Regal up and hits him with the scoop slam then grabs at his back in pain before getting out of the ring onto the apron, climbing up to the top turnbuckle and connecting with his signature diving elbow drop on Regal as the crowd pops. HBK, instead of going for a pinfall attempt, pops back up to his feet and backs into the corner to tune up the band! The crowd counts along as HBK stomps his foot down on the mat. Regal slowly gets back up to his feet, HBK goes for the Sweet Chin Music but Regal moves out of the way, grabs HBK and hits him with the Regal-Plex directly into the cover but HBK kicks out and Regal cannot believe it. Regal pulls HBK back up to his feet, hits him with a forearm shot, HBK stumbles backwards a little bit before hitting Regal with Sweet Chin Music out of nowhere. HBK falls overtop of Regal, the referee gets down on the mat and makes the three count as the crowd cheers.
*Bell Rings*
Winner - Shawn Michaels via pinfall (Sweet Chin Music - 14:51)
HBK quickly gets up to his feet and the referee raises his arm in victory as the crowd continues to cheer.
Lillian: Here is your winner by pinfall, Shawn Michaels!
HBK continues to celebrate his victory as he motions for the world title belt around his waist. Raw fades into a commercial with HBK posing for the crowd in the center of the ring.
**Commercial Break**
Jim Ross: Welcome back once again everyone and before the commercial break we saw an absolutely fantastic match between Shawn Michaels and William Regal! Just a wonderful match just like all the matches here tonight on Raw!
Jerry Lawler: Oh you said it, JR! I can't wait to see MVP versus HBK at the Great American Bash!
Jim Ross: Me neither, King! I have no doubt that the match between those two will also be fantastic match! Well folks up next, MVP will defend his Intercontinental Championship against the number one contender, Jack Swagger! Let's get the main event started!
*Entrances and Introductions*
Main Event - Singles Match ~ Intercontinental Championship
MVP (c) vs. Jack Swagger
*Bell Rings*

Swagger gets back up to his feet, pulls MVP up but MVP hits Swagger with a right hand, MVP irish whips Swagger into the corner, runs at him and hits Swagger with a running big boot in the corner. MVP pulls Swagger out of the corner but Swagger hits MVP with a knee lift to the gut followed by a right hand. Swagger grabs MVP and hits him with a lariat which sends MVP down to the mat. Swagger pulls MVP up, puts him in position for his Falling Gutwrench Powerbomb but MVP drops down to his knees and pushes Swagger away. MVP gets up to his feet, Swagger walks forward and MVP hits Swagger with a Dragon Screw. MVP walks over into a corner, Swagger starts to get up to his feet, MVP runs towards Swagger and hits him with the Drive By Kick. MVP quickly gets back up to his feet, pulls Swagger up and hits him with the Playmaker into the pinfall to retain his Intercontinental Championship as the crowd boos.
*Bell Rings*
Winner and STILL Intercontinental Champion - MVP via pinfall (Playmaker - 12:19)
MVP gets up to his feet and the referee hands MVP both of his title belt then raises his arm up into the air signifying victory. MVP gets down on one knee beside Swagger and taunts him with the title belts as the crowd boos.
Lillian: Here is your winner and STILL Intercontinental Champion by pinfall, MVP!
MVP gets back up to his feet and raises both of his championship belts up into the air. HBK walks out onto the stage and the crowd cheers. MVP suddenly doesn't look so happy. He begins to taunt HBK at the top of the ramp. The two stare eachother down as Raw fades off the air.

It is said that WWE was very impressed with KENTA's match on Monday Night Raw and they're considering giving him a spot on this months Great American Bash Pay-Per-View. The idea is being thrown around about him possibly defending his GHC Junior Heavyweight Championship on the show. They are in process of gaining permission from Pro Wrestling NOAH and working out the booking details for the match. WWE has a good opponent in mind for him although if he is to defend his championship, there will then be nine matches on the show although that doesn't seem to be a problem to WWE as they said they can always just buy another hour from the broadcast company to add to their current three hour Pay-Per-View slot.
WWE currently has big plans for The Undertaker and his title reign. There is talk about having another small Undertaker/Jericho feud with Jericho possibly taking the championship from Undertaker sometime between SummerSlam and Survivor Series. WWE feels it's time to give Chris Jericho another title reign and feel that Undertaker would be a good person for him to beat for his possible title win.
It has been announced on WWE.com that Edge and Kurt Angle will meet at the Great American Bash in a Street Fight! Kurt said that the way Edge won the match against him this past Monday on Raw was unfair as Edge cheated by knocking the referee down then executing an Edgecution to Angle right into the chair then getting rid of the evidence. Kurt made the challenge to Edge and Edge has accepted the challenge and is ready to beat Angle again for the second time in a row.
WWE's move to make the company more wrestling based has slightly effected the ratings but WWE isn't too worried about it. WWE feels that overtime the fans will warm up to the idea of the company being more wrestling based and they will regain those viewers after time has passed. WWE is happy about the new direction and feels that it was a good choice to make storylines a secondary thing instead of in the past where storylines was always the main focus with wrestling in second.

Good show, man, and I think the Kurt/Edge finish was a nice preview for their Street Fight at the GAB. Perhaps a bit too over the top, but I can excuse it. Just makes me think that their match should be all the more nasty. KENTA's debut was nice too, though I'm not sure how the GHC title being defended in the WWE would turn out. I guess I'm just to hung up by that, but if you can make it sound important, then it should be good. Nice matches, too. Loved Michaels/Regal.

July 10th 2009;Tacoma, Washington
Jim Ross: Welcome everyone to the July 10th edition of Friday Night Smackdown! What a show we've got planned for you tonight here folks! Tonight in the main event we're going to have CM Punk go one on one with Chris Jericho! Should be a great contest!
Jerry Lawler: Oh no doubt it should be, JR! I can't wait to see that one!
Jim Ross: Also tonight ladies and gentlemen, we're going to see KENTA in action once again but tonight he's going one on one with the leader of The Carolina Connection, Matt Hardy!
Jerry Lawler: Oh! I can't wait to see that one too!
Jim Ross: Neither can I, King! Anyways, we're gonna kick off tonight's show with Abyss and James Mitchell!
The lights go out, Abyss's theme hits the arena and the crowd begins to boo as Abyss along with his manager, James Mitchell, walk out onto the stage together before making their way down the ramp towards the ring.
Lillian: Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome, Abyss and his manager, James Mitchell!
The crowd continues to boo as Abyss and Mitchell walk up the ring steps one after the other onto the apron then get into the ring. Mitchell walks past Lillian and grabs the mic from her before she gets out of the ring to take her seat at ringside. Abyss's them slowly begins to fade away and the lights return to normal as the crowd continues to boo at them.
James Mitchell: Ya know, ever since Abyss and I challenged Undertaker to a match at the Great American Bash for his WWE Championship, everyone keeps saying that this whole thing between Undertaker and us is because Abyss is a big man and so is Undertaker therefore we feel that there can only be one big man and that there's no room for Undertaker anymore because of that. Well, that's not what it's about. It's about The Undertaker continuing to thrive off of the same thing that he's been thriving off of for the past nineteen years. There can only be one dark spirit here in the WWE and his name is Abyss! Abyss is the new cornerstone of the WWE and he will prove that at the Great American Bash when he takes the WWE Championship from The Undertaker! Like it's been said many times before, Undertaker, Abyss has already beaten you once and he can do it again! You've already been a world champion on seven different occasions Undertaker, Abyss has only been a world champion once in his career, we feel it's time that you just step on back away from the title and let younger people who will take your spot when you're long and forgotten in this business! Let's face it Undertaker, your time in this business is over and long overdue to be over. We suggest that after Abyss beats you at the Great American Bash, you leave and never return because once Abyss beats you, that will prove that your time has indeed come to an end! ~Crowd boos
James Mitchell: Tonight, Abyss has a match and he will show you Undertaker that he means business and will hold nothing back at the Great American Bash! Abyss will take your title from you and it's about time you accept that fact!
Mitchell drops the mic as Abyss's theme hits the arena. Smackdown fades into a commercial as Abyss does his signature taunt in front of the camera.

~Carlito's Cabana w/James Gibson~
Carlito: Welcome, James Gibson, the United States Champion. That's a nice looking belt, new design looks better than the old one. Anyways, last week, I defeated you in a match, one, two, three and with that, I feel I deserve a United States Championship match at the Great American Bash. Seeing as how you don't have an opponent yet and it wouldn't be much of a Great American Bash without the U.S. title on the line in a match. What you say, champ?
James Gibson: So you want a shot at my United States Championship huh? You're right, it wouldn't be much of a Great American Bash without the United States Championship on the line so tell ya what, I'll give you your title match against me but don't expect to win because I'm not giving up this title until I feel like defending it no more. I am the United States Champion and I will defend this title with honor, respect and prestige! I'm accepting your challenge because I never back down from a challenge. I will show that I will be a great champion and bring back prestige to this championship!
Carlito: Alright, that's cool, I can dig that so yeah, see you at the Great American Bash, champ.
Carlito picks up an apple out of a basket sitting in the ring, he shines it against his shirt, offers it to Gibson but Gibson denies it, Carlito takes a bit, chews for a moment and spits the apple right in the face of the United States Champion, James Gibson. Gibson wipes it off of his face and gets right up in the face of Carlito. Carlito punches Gibson, turns him around and hits him with the Back Stabber as the crowd boos. Carlito gets up to his feet, grabs the United States Championship, looks at it and drops it on Gibson's chest as his theme hits the arena again.

July 13th 2009; Denver, Colorado
Jim Ross: Welcome everyone to the final edition of Monday Night Raw before this Sunday's Great American Bash Pay-Per-View which should be one hell of a show if you ask me!
Jerry Lawler: Oh I totally agree, JR! This is shaping up to be potentially the greatest Great American Bash there's ever been!
Jim Ross: I think I would agree with you there, King! The card is spectacular, not a bad match on the card and one hell of a main event with MVP defending his World Heavyweight Championship against legendary, Shawn Michaels!
Jerry Lawler: Oh yes but don't forget about the Hell In A Cell match between the returning Triple H against CM Punk!
Jim Ross: That match should be a great one as well. It will mark the first time that CM Punk will be stepping inside the deadly Hell In A Cell and the eigth time for Triple H stepping inside the cell! Anyways, as you can see folks, a Hell In A Cell hangs above us here tonight and apparently we're going to be kicking off the show with CM Punk!
Jerry Lawler: I wonder why we have a cell hanging overhead tonight?
Jim Ross: Seems like we'll have to wait to find out!
The cell slowly begins to lower as the lights around the cell begin to flicker. After several moments, the cell is completely lowered around the ring as the crowd cheers. After wards, CM Punk's theme hits the arena and the crowd begins to cheer as Punk makes his way out onto the stage in ring gear with a CM Punk T-Shirt on. Punk high fives some of the fans as he makes his way down the ramp towards the ring. He walks around to the backside of the cell where he grabs a mic from Lillian. Punk walks back around to the front side of the cell as his theme slowly fades away. Punk throws the microphone on top of the cell and slowly begins to climb it. Punk climbs up to the top of the cell, grabs the mic and begins to talk as he stands up high on top of this deadly cell.
CM Punk: So this...this is the Hell In A Cell, huh Triple H? You call this your playground and where you feel at home. I've never been in one of these matches but I can assure you that come this Sunday at the Great American Bash, I will be prepared to meet you inside this cell and I will bring everything I have with me to this cell because I will walk out Hell In A Cell this Sunday as the victor! I will bleed, sweat and defeat you in this match Triple H! It's time that you Triple H, realize that you are not the best thing that's ever happened to the WWE and it's time that you stop selling all the young stars in this business including myself, short! Triple H, inside this cell come this Sunday, you will step inside this cell for the time time in nearly three years and be defeated!
~Crowd cheers
CM Punk: Once I defeat you this Sunday, I will get together a group of other stars from the locker room for the cause of destroying Royalty and taking the power back from the corrupt chairman of the WWE, John Bradshaw Layfield! Triple H, we all know that you hold the younger stars back and won't let them move into the spotlight unless they're your friend like MVP for example. He only got to where he is today because you allowed him to! I got to where I was last year because you were world champion on Smackdown and didn't care what happened on Raw. Maybe I should rephrase what I said, you don't allow younger stars to move into the spotlight unless they're on the opposite show from you. You're afraid of younger guys moving into the spotlight because it might take some thunder away from you. I will not stand for that anymore, Triple H! People like Jack Swagger, John Morrison and myself are the future of this company whether you like that or not!
~Crowd cheers
CM Punk: People like The Undertaker are not what I'm concerned about. He has no problem with letting younger stars have the spotlight and he knows when it's time to step aside and when it's time to be in the spotlight. It's people like you Triple H, you push constantly to be in the spotlight and to win just one more world title, that's what you always say, just one more world title and I'm done. Yet after you lose that one more world title, you're already pushing for the next one! Some people could say that I'm being disrespectful and untruthful about Triple H's politics but I'm not, I'm just telling the truth about how Triple H really is! Which, it must be the truth because Triple H didn't show up last week nor is he here tonight! Guess he doesn't want to show his face in public until he actually has to this Sunday at the Great American Bash. Well Triple H, this Sunday inside this cell, your face will bleed, it will be mangled and you will be defeated! This cell, will be the beginning of the end for your time in the spotlight! Punk wins! Punk wins! Punk wins! Is what all the headlines are going to say after this Sunday! Punk wins!
~Crowd cheers as Punk drops the mic and his theme hits the arena.
Jim Ross: CM Punk sure sounds confident that he will defeat The Game this Sunday in that very cell!
Jerry Lawler: I don't know if he will, JR! Triple H is the master of the Hell In A Cell!
Jim Ross: What are you on Royalty's side now?!
Suddenly Triple H's theme hits the arena and the crowd boos as Triple H walks out onto the stage with his ring gear on. The crowd continues to boo as his theme slowly fades away.
Triple H: Ya know, Punk, it would be wise of you to just shut your mouth right now! You're talking about stuff you don't even know about and stuff that you're just simply making up. Far as I'm concerned, I haven't held anyone down, they've just held themselves down because they're afraid to put in the hard work and effort to get to where I am in this business, like you for example. You come out here, running your mouth about how it's time for me to basically go away, move out of the spotlight and let people like you shine. Punk, make me why don't ya! Put your money where your mouth is this Sunday, then we'll see who's right and who's wrong!
~Crowd boos
Triple H: Punk, don't try and blame me for holding anyone down! Don't try and pawn your laziness off on me and act as if it's my fault for not giving you the total spotlight! I've worked hard in this business for many years, longer than you ever have!
CM Punk: Oh, you've worked hard? So you call sleeping with the bosses daughter to get everything you want, hard work? Hell, sounds like a walk in the park to me! Triple H, you have no idea how much hard work I've done in this business. I wrestled in the indies for how many years, traveling on the road with hardly any money, eating shitty fast food to keep my hunger for better things at bay while I sweat and bleed in some small arena with a thousand people in it, don't you tell me about hard work! Triple H, what did you have to do to get in your position? You didn't work for it, it's common knowledge that you didn't work for anything you've ever gotten! You were born with a silver spoon in your mouth and it's stayed that way...until now because it seems like I'm going to be the only one to have the guts to stand up to you!
~Crowd cheers
Triple H gets angry, throws down his mic, runs down the ramp to the side of the cage, Triple H starts climbing and he gets to the top within a few moments. Triple H and Punk start brawling on top of the cell as the crowd chants for Punk. After a few moments of brawling Punk hoists Triple H up for the Go To Sleep but Triple H slides down the back of Punk, Punk turns around and Triple H kicks Punk in the gut before hitting him with the Pedigree on top of the cell. Triple H's theme hits the arena as the crowd showers him in boos. Raw fades into a commercial with Triple H posing over Punk as the crowd boos him.
**Commercial Break**
~Match Results~
If KENTA and Jack Swagger win their matches tonight, they will face off this Friday on Smackdown in a match to determine the Number One Contender for the Intercontinental Championship and will receive the title shot on the July 20th edition of Monday Night Raw.
Match #1 - Singles Match
Jack Swagger defeated William Regal via pinfall after the Gutwrench Powerbomb (10:12)
Match #2 - Singles Match
Kaz defeated D.H. Smith via pinfall after the Wave Of The Future (9:39)
Match #3 - Singles Match
KENTA defeated Christian Cage via pinfall after the Go To Sleep (13:19)
Main Event - Six Man Tag
Stone Cold, Kurt Angle & Shawn Michaels defeated Randy Orton, Edge & MVP via submission after Orton tapped to the Ankle Lock (15:04)
After the main event, a huge brawl ensued with Triple H and CM Punk getting involved. After a long brawl between the faces and the heels, the heels stood tall and ready for their opponents this Sunday at the Great American Bash.
~Out Of Character~
I'm doing this because as I said before, I am very behind and I think I will be doing this all the way up until about SummerSlam or possibly just a little bit before SummerSlam. I mean, tomorrow is July 1st and I'm still only on the July 13th edition of Raw so I think I'm behind from where I should be at. The main promo of the show will still be in full while the matches will be in this quick result format. However, the Great American Bash, since it's a PPV, will be in complete full.

~In Ring Promo~
Mr.Kennedy: This Sunday I will step into the ring with Chris Jericho and prove to all of you that I am better than Chris Jericho. Sure, Jericho beat Austin and The Rock both in one night to become the first Undisputed Champion, but let's face it folks, his reign as the first Undisputed Champion was a joke and it failed miserably only to be ended in a miserable match against Triple H at Wrestlemania 18. Jericho, you can brag about your victory that night against Austin and The Rock to become the first Undisputed Champion, all you want but all that matters is who had the more successful championship reign! We all know who had the more successful reign and that is...MISSSSTTTTTEEEERRRR.....
Chris Jericho: Y2J....CHRIS.....JERICHO!
~Crowd cheers as Jericho walks out onto the stage and smiles at Kennedy who stands down in the ring. Jericho begins to walk down the ramp towards the ring as he talks.
Chris Jericho: You say that my reign as Undisputed Champion was a joke? So you think it's a joke to beat the two biggest icons that this sport has ever seen, in one night? If you also remember Kennedy, I not only beat The Rock that night once, I also beat him again at the Royal Rumble to retain my Undisputed Championship! Then I beat Stone Cold at No Way Out to again retain my Undisputed Championship! That's two times each in a matter of two months that I beat both Stone Cold and The Rock! What did you do in your championship reign? Huh? You only beat the biggest politician this business has ever seen, Triple H but you also beat Brock Lesnar. Wow, two people aren't icons in this sport. Two people who are nothing in this sport compared to the stature of Stone Cold and The Rock! I call that nothing compared to what I accomplished during my reign as champion! Because ya see Kennedy, unlike you, I had to actually work to get my opportunity at becoming champion! What did you do? You waited until after JBL had eliminated everyone in the Royal Rumble, came up behind him and dumped him over the top rope. Wow, such hard work! Pfft, please, Kennedy, give it a rest! I had to work for three long years in the WWE to get that chance! I had to put up with constantly being put down by other guys in the locker room, I had to put up with being screwed out of the WWE Championship the first time I technically won it against guess who? Triple H! Kennedy, you didn't do anything compared to what I had to do so just shut the hell up!
~Crowd cheers
Mr.Kennedy: Oh, I should shut up? Speak for yourself, you almost put me to sleep with that about how you had to work oh so hard and had to put up with a bunch of obstacles before you could finally meet your potential in this business. If anyone should give it a rest, it's you! But like I said before, once we step into the ring this Sunday at the Great American Bash, we'll truly get to see who deserves the bragging rights and just who is better than the other! I mean, I already know the answer to that but I'll get into the ring this Sunday anyways just for fun! Haha! MISSSSTTTTTEEEEERRRRRR.........
Chris Jericho: Y2J....CHRIS.....JERICHO! ....Didn't you learn the first time?
~Crowd cheers as Jericho laughs in Kennedy's face and Smackdown fades into a commercial.

Match #2 - Singles Match
Kofi Kingston defeated Matt Hardy via pinfall after the Trouble In Paradise (11:11)
Match #3 - Singles Match (#1 Contenders Match)
KENTA and Jack Swagger fought to a time limit draw (20:00)
Since there was a draw, both Swagger and KENTA will get the Intercontinental Championship shot on next week's edition of Monday Night Raw; making it a triple threat match.
Main Event - Tag Team Match
Abyss & Carlito defeated The Undertaker & James Gibson via pinfall after a Blackhole Slam on Gibson (14:25)
After the main event, Abyss and Undertaker began to brawl on the outside of the ring. Abyss slammed Undertaker into the steps, hit him with a steel chair three times to the skull which busted Undertaker open. Abyss pushes Undertaker back in the ring and Blackhole Slams him right on top of the chair before posing with the WWE Championship as Smackdown faded off the air.
