Rundown of the Intercontinental Championship Match
Chris Jericho vs. Evan Bourne
Chris Jericho makes his way to the ring with a pop from the crowd and a few boos mixed in with it. He grabs the mic and starts talking.
Chris Jericho - "Shawn! Shawn I know you're back there. I know we were supposed to have a match tonight and that was all screwed up because of the draft. But I still hate your guts, the same as always. Raw & Raw, ECW & Raw, ECW & Smackdown!, Japan and Canada, I don't care how far we are apart. Truth is, and you still aren't getting it, the worst has yet...to come."
Shawn Michaels music hits and he makes his way to the ring, to a HUGE pop. Evan Bourne follows him, climbing the turnbuckle, as Michaels gets in the ring.
Shawn Michaels - "You know, tonight isn't about us. At least not to me, Chris. It's about kids like this. It's about the future. Hell, it's about America. But regardless of what tonight is and isn't about, I do have to give you this: the worst has yet to come!"
Michaels Sweet Chin Musics Chris Jericho in the jaw, knocking him out. Shawn Michaels looks and Evan Bourne and points and Jericho. Bourne hits the Shooting Star Press and the bell rings as a ref gets in the ring. Bourne covers Jericho for the 1-2-3 to become the NEW Intercontinental Champion.
Rundown of the WWE Tag Team Championships Match
The Miz & John Morrison vs. Finlay & Hornswaggle
Beginning
The Miz & Morrison makes seperate entrances, both to mixed reactions from the crowd. The miz has slightly more boos than Morrison. Finlay & Hornswaggle's music hit and they make their way to the ring, with a love fest from the crowd. They dance around the ring.
The Miz & John Morrison attack Finlay while he is faces the crowd. The begin to stomp him until Hornswaggle comes from behin and jumps on Morrison back. When the Miz notices Morrison struggling, he pulls Hornswaggle off and tries to swing at him. Hornswaggle leave the ring, though and The miz begins chasing him. The Bell rings. Morrison is watching the chase as Finlay grabs his shoulder and spins him around. He then knocks him right in the face sending him to the mat.
The Middle
Finlay dominates Morrison, slamming him with moe after move. Body Slam, Suplex, DDT, etc. It isn't until a desperate kick to the face of Finly that Morrison is able to make the tag to Miz. The miz runs into the ring and at first Finlay has control. Soon enough, though, The Miz is able to capitalize on Finlay's taunting for the crowd. He tries for a rollup but only a 1 count. When Finlay gets up, The miz is playing possom. Finlay makes an attempt at gaining control but The Miz locks in an Inside Cradle. A 2 count only.
While Finlay is shocked, The miz stands to his feet, kicks Finlay in the gut and hit a Suplex. He then lands an Elbow Drop, folowed by a Leg Drop. The Miz, after show boating himself, locks in a Headlock. Like usual, Finlay makes an attempt to eat the crowds chants for strength, but The Miz quickly hits Reality Check on Finlay. He tries for a pin but only a two count. The Miz in frustration begins to stomp Finlay and then tags in Morrison.
Morrison laush at Finlay's dismay. He then begins stomping Finlay, then picking him up and sending him to the Turnbuckle. From the Turnbuckle, Morrison hits a Supersplex. After another tried pin attempt for the 2 count, Morrison hits the Moonlight Drive. Afer Finlay is able to find something left to kick out of this, Morrison also gets frustrated. The Miz gets in the ring and they start stomping him together. Hornswaggle tries to wave them off, catching their attention.
End
John Morrison, with a huge sick smile on his face, drags Finlay, who is lifeless, to Hornswaggle and forces his hand againt Hornswaggle, making an official tag. Hornswaggle get in the ring, very scared.
When Morrison runs at him, he circles the ring. The miz & John Morrison chase Hornswaggle in seperate direction which ends up with them hitting heads. Hornswaggle then takes advantage of that and hits a Tadpole Splash on John Morrison for the three count to become one half of the new WWE Tag Team Champions.
Rundown of the ECW World Heavyweight Championship Match
Rey Mysterio vs. Tommy Dreamer
Beginning
Tommy Dreamer's music hits to a mildreaction from the fans. He slaps their hands on the way to the ring. Rey Mysterio's music hits and the crowd goes crazy. He quickly makes his way to the ring and holds his belt high in the air. The ref calls for the bell.
Dreamer and Mysterio lock up. Dreamer throws a knee to the gut of Mysterio, then using the top of his mask for leverage for a punch to the face. Mysterio falls into the turnbuckle. Dreamer throws several chops to Mysterio's chest and then Irish Whips him hard into the turnbuckle across from them. Mysterio lashes off and hits the mat.
Middle
Dreamer picks Mysterio up but catches punches to his gut. Mysterio hits Dreamer with an uppercut and then several punches to his face. He kicks him in the stomach and hits him with a suplex. Mysterio tries for a cover but only a 1 count. He instead, locks in a headlock.
After about a minute of being in the Headlock, Dreamer starts picking up the vibe from the crowd. They start getting rowdier and he gets more energy. He throws an elbow to Mysterio's gut. Then another. One more. He runs into the ropes and comes back for a Shoulder Block. Dreamer runs into the ropes to his right and Mysterio layes under him, allowing him to run. Mysterio then stands and catches Dreamer with a Dropsault.
End
Mysterio has Dreamer on the ground and climbs the ropes, but Dreamer pushes the ropes, knocking him down. Both men lay until the ref finds a 5 count. They both are able to stand and start trading punches. Dreamer gets the better bette hand. Or first. Whatever. Dreamer kicks Mysterio in the gut and hits a hard spike DDT for a very near 2 count but Rey kicks out.
Dreamer, who is frustrated, picks Mysterio up and taunts for another DDT but Mysterio flips him. Dreamer gets up and run but Mysterio lands Drop Toe hold, sending Dreamer leaning on the ropes. Mysterio hits a 619 and a West Coast Pop for the 1-2-3 to retain the ECW World Heavyweight Title.
