John Morrison: “Well with the land of extreme going to big places, what a fitting end to our first two hour show?” The Miz: “You said it, John. I mean, we could have seen the close of the show with Mike Knox or with Paul London. Or even with Rey Mysterio himself…but instead we’re seeing the show closing with John Morrison and THE Miz!” John Morrison: “I know I couldn’t ask for a better ending…” The Miz: “And the feeling is mutual…not just with me, but the fans too…and The Tazz.” Tazz: “Todd! Haha they read me like a book!” John Morrison: “But we didn’t come out here to say how great it is for all of you to se us, because you all already feel that emotion. We came out here to talk about our Tag Team Champions…Brian Kendrick and Paul London.” The Miz: “See, we lost our belts in a fluke. But even though we were reppin’ ECW on Smackdown for 250 days straight, without give because we were Tag Team Champions, Joey Styles has his idea of basically handing the titles to Paul London and Brian Kendrick!” John Morrison: “We should have been awarded the title for the gifts of ourselves to the ECW brand! But you know, it’s too late for that, the only thing there is to….” Paul London and Brian Kendrick’s music hits and they both make their way to the ring with mics. Paul London: “You know, you’re right. You guys did hold the titles for 250 days straight. But Brian and I…we held them for 331 days straight. The future is I and Brian becoming the longest reigning ECW Tag champions in history!” Brian Kendrick: “In case you haven’t done your homework, boys, that means 284 days and we’re in the clear. That’s something we have done and pathetically enough…YOU haven’t…” John Morrison punches Brian Kendrick in the face and The Miz goes for Paul London. As the three raise their chairs, Rob Van Dam’s music hits.
The crowd pops the loudest they have all night. They go crazy.
