ECW is in intense discussion, with Indemand about possibly securing a PPV contract, Paul Heyman has been wanting to secure a PPV contract because the amount of revenue they could be taking in, is badly needed.
Two major stories have broken out, the first one Delirious & Mark Henry are being closed to release, both men have been given there final warnings already after both have been rubbing people up the wrong way & have not been showing there supposed talent.
The ECW PPV which will be held in the month of August is ECW Heatwave!

The show opens with all the wrestlers entering the ring and Tazz & Joey Styles saying the whole roster has been told to goto the ring, to find out a huge announcement. The screen to black above the ring until it says 'Next week, we will make an announcement that will shock the whole wrestling world, the new GM!!' Find out next week.
Then the ECW board of control annouced that Mark Henry will go against Carlito.
Mark Henry vs Carlito Match Recap: This match was rather a long one Carlito started by trying to gain an advantage by punching & kicking Henry, but the kicks didn't seem to affect 'The World's Strongest Man'. Henry picked up Carlito and press slammed him onto the mat. Henry then picks Colon up and hits the World's Strongest Slam. Colon is in pain, he slides out the ring to grab a table but Henry punches him hard. Carlito goes for a chair but Henry hits him with a trash can! Henry goes to Carlito and throws him like a rag doll. Colon is on the floor for a good three minutes, Henry tosses him back in the ring and is applying the Bearhug when out of knowhere Chuck Palumbo! With a chair he hits Henry twice, once in the head and once in the back. Carlito picks himself up and hits a Backcracker on Henry and then covers 1.2..3. After the match, Palumbo runs away with Carlito as Henry lies on the floor.
After the match Edge appears & looks hurt and upset, he says that after last week Rhyno
is a coward and a liar and deserves to be thrown out of the land of extreme for his disgusting action last week. He lifts up his shirt and shows bandages on his stomach. Edge tells the crowd that if Rhyno is such a good wrestler, than he will have to accept his challenge for Heatwave. He waits a minute and Rhyno dosen't come out, Edge says just as I thought. Until Rhyno's music plays and he has a mic in hand, he accepts Edge's challenge!
Finlay vs Nunzio ECW Tv Title Match
Match recap: The match starts off with Nunzio punching Finlay, while Finlay flies back with a hard right to knock Nunzio down, Nunzio gets back up when Finlay Irish whips Nunzio into the ropes, Nunzio ducks under Finlay and leaps on to him hitting a Bulldog on him. Finlay gets up when Nunzio knocks him down with a Dropkick. Finlay picks himself up and hits Nunzio with a Suplex. Nunzio gets back up but Finlay hits him with a stiff kick to his stomach. Finlay goes to the top rope but Nunzio gets up and hits a Superplex from the top. He covers for a 2 count. Finlay gets back up and clotheslines' Nunzio, he gets up and attempts to Huracanrana Finlay but Finlay hits him hard in the head. Nunzio looks staggered, Finlay hits the Celtic Cross 1.2.3 Finlay celebrates as Nunzio slides out the ring.
After the match Tommy Dreamer, Umaga and the leader Rob Van Dam filters down to the ring. They all in turn hug Finlay after his second succesive title defense. RVD gets the mic as he starts telling the fans, about how these four men breathe ECW. RVD then says that Batista is going to have to find some friends, which he says is going to be hard for him because he is challenging Batista to a four on four match at Heatwave. RVD, Tommy Dreamer, Umaga & Finlay versus Batista and his three men.
Batista music hits as a ray of boos come over the Hammerstien Ballroom, he talks about the four men that will be against him as a bunch of failures and they all need to get a life, because its not an achievement wrestling in a Bingo Hall for fans. Batista then goes on and says if there unifying there team, then he will have to get his team and his first man is...
BIG SHOW... his music hits as he hugs Batista as the show pans to darkness.
