Snitsky vs Batista.

Match Background: None.

The Match: Snitsky is a glutton for punishment and just continues to take it during this match. Batista slams Snitsky. STIFF~! chop lights up Snitsky who covers up to try and stop the agonizing PAIN! There's a two count on the pin. Batista with a spinning neckbreaker on Snitsky. Covers for a quick two count. Snitsky reverses a hip toss. Batista receives some punishment by Snitsky but with that horrid offense, we're the only ones truly being punished. Covers for a quick two count. Powerslam from Snitsky on Batista. Batista flips out of a Snitsky bodyslam attempt. Spear! Snitsky is down! Snitsky is in trouble. Here it comes - Batista Bomb. 1....2...3, it's finished. Batista slides to the outside and grabs a chair, then climbs back into the ring. Snitsky turns around...and gets planted with a huge chair shot to the head! He is left down and out on the canvas.

My Opinion: Smack dab in the middle of the star spectrum for an average match. **1\2.

Segment with Dibiase Jr. and Rhodes

Dibiase and Rhodes are backstage. They were on hype duty tonight, this time for a match with Cryme Tyme.

Cryme Tyme vs Dibiase and Rhodes.

Match Background: Dibiase and Rhodes are the reigning World Tag Team champions.

The Match: JTG hits a back kick, doubling C. Rhodesover. C. Rhodes walks into a spinning heel kick which almost causes a decapitation! There's a two count on the pin. Tag to Shad Gaspard. Cryme Tyme whip C. Rhodes into the ropes and hit a double back elbow. Hooks the leg for a two count. Running knee lift from Shad Gaspard. Shad goes for a splash but C. Rhodes puts the knees up. Massive back suplex! Shad Gaspard got snapped in half, but not literally because that would just end the match now wouldn't it. Covers for a quick two count. C. Rhodes tags out to Ted DiBiase Jr.. Weak bodyslam by Dibiase Jr. Pin, but Shad is out just before the three count. Shad Gaspard takes a right hand to the temple from Dibiase Jr. Dibiase Jr drops an elbow...but Shad Gaspard moves out of the way. Shad Gaspard with a spinning neckbreaker on Dibiase Jr. Shad tags out to JTG. JTG hits a back kick, doubling Dibiase Jrover. Tag between Ted DiBiase Jr. and Cody Rhodes. JTG hits an arm drag on C. Rhodes, follows it up with about 3 more and locks in an armbar for good measure. Cody Rhodes is in big trouble...G9!! 1....2....3! Cryme Tyme climb opposite turnbuckles, working the crowd as they celebrate their victory.

Shane McMahon announces new GM

Shane McMahon is in the ring, and announces that he has decided to bring in someone to help shake up the show, and that is Steve Austin. He comes out and joins Shane McMahon in the ring, shaking hands.

Eddie Colon vs Hardcore Holly.

Match Background: Eddie is making his debut at this show.

The Match: STIFF high kick on Hardcore by Eddie Colon. Hardcore Holly powers out of a Eddie Colon headlock. Hardcore Holly hits some punches. How generic. The referee bumps after catching a wild right hand and is down. DEATH VALLEY DRIVAH~! by Hardcore Holly just KILLS Eddie Colon! Pinfall attempt, but the ref is out and can't count to three! Eddie Colon reverses a hip toss. Second rope flying axe handle, Hardcore goes down. One day, Eddie might even consider coming off the top with that. You know...for more impact and stuff. Lightning kick by Eddie on Hardcore. Hooks the leg for a two count. Tor-NADO DDT from Eddie Colon, Hardcore got planted! Hooks the leg! ONE...TWO...NO! Hardcore counters a sleeper with a jaw breaker and is able to get free! Nice piledriver on Eddie. Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! I would have bought that as the finish! Eddie Colon reverses a hip toss. Eddie Colon has Hardcore Holly down on the canvas and is ascending the corner. Cannonball Twister!!! 1....2....3!! It's all over. Eric Perez comes running down the aisle with a chair! Hardcore Holly is just leaving the ring...and Eric Perez scores with a brutal chair shot! Hardcore Holly falls to the floor holding his head.

Interview with John Cena

John Cena is backstage. He wanted to rip into John Bradshaw Layfield. Not literally, of course. That would just be nasty. Instead, this was a good way to build up to an eventual match.

John Cena vs John Bradshaw Layfield.

Match Background: None.

The Match: John Cena charges into the corner, but EATS BOOT and staggers backward. John Bradshaw Layfield hits a bulldog off the ropes. Hooks the leg for a two count. Cena pushes out of a John Bradshaw Layfield hold. JBL gets slammed down hard and winces in pain. Rude Awakening neckbreaker on John Bradshaw Layfield by Cena. Remember when that was a legit finish? There's a two count on the pin. DEATH VALLEY DRIVAH~! by John Cena just KILLS John Bradshaw Layfield! Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! Cena slams John Bradshaw Layfield down and motions to the crowd. JBL reverses a waistlock. Full nelson slam on Cena. There's a two count on the pin. John Bradshaw Layfield scores with a standing spinebuster. Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! I would have bought that as the finish! BAAACK Body drop by Cena gets a bit of a pop from the crowd. STIFF~! chop lights up Cena who covers up to try and stop the agonizing PAIN! JBL charges into the corner but EATS BOOT. Flying shoulder tackle by Cena sends JBL CRASHING to the mat. Death valley driver by John Cena! No one executes that move properly anymore. The time limit expires, and the referee declares the match a draw. The fight has started up again! John Cena attacks JBL, and they brawl all around ringside, then into the crowd! They eventually disappear backstage, still fighting.

My Opinion: A badly blown spot prevents me from giving out more snowflakes. ***3/4

Backstage with Cena

Backstage, a crowd is forming around John Cena, who has been knocked unconscious and left down and out. Paramedics come over to help, although nobody seems to know who was responsible for the attack.

CM Punk vs Edge.

Match Background: This match is for the World Heavyweight title.

The Match: Spinning back kick from CM Punk. CM Punk gets taken down out of nowhere! Punk is a glutton for punishment and just continues to take it during this match. The referee bumps after catching a wild right hand and is down. Edge scores with a standing spinebuster. Cover, but there's no one to count for Edge! Punk powers out of a headlock. Edge takes a butterfly suplex from Punk. Massive back suplex! Edge got snapped in half, but not literally because that would just end the match now wouldn't it. Hooks the leg for a two count. Tiger suplex on Edge. No Misawa references from me, I swear. Oh, dammit. Pin, but Edge is out just before the three count. Edge counters an arm wringer with an elbow to the side of the head. Spear by Edge. Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! I would have bought that as the finish! Edge walks into a drop toe hold. Edge is in trouble. G.T.S.! 1....2....3. CM Punk goes into the crowd, where he celebrates his victory

My Opinion: Almost got a **** match, but was lacking in certain areas, so i'm knocking off a quarter of a star. Yes, there is such a thing as a quarter star. ***3/4.

I also had HBK and Kofi defeating Jericho and Cade.
