Not sure what Viva did on Dubbz. This is pretty much going to be like my last btb that got deleted during the hacking phase. I'm pretty much ass at writing matches, but I'm half decent with storylines so I write a review of what happened in the show and I follow it up with news and notes. Ken's seen it before. Hate to disappoint you guys, but that person in the banner will not be Undertaker. Takers been with the WWE for so long, its unlikely that he would leave the company unless he is retiring. Instead I've renamed him to " The Butcher" Big Daddy Pain. Cheesy I know, but he's pretty much like Big Evil Undertaker.
On October 21, 2009 a press conference was called by TBS Sports officials and Richard Morgan Fliehr ( Ric Flair) to announce a one year deal between TBS and IWF wrestling. It was announced that for one hour every Wednesday night at 7:00pm, IWF would air. The main attraction of the first broadcast would be Floyd “ Money” Mayweather versus Scott Hall in a singles match. TBS put up forty million dollars to promote the match and have broadcasting rights. Floyd Mayweather was invited to the press conference to speak about his upcoming match with Scott Hall.
-I Get Money by 50cent blasts throughout the building as Floyd Mayweather makes his way to the podium.
Floyd: People have been asking me, why come back to wrestling? It’s quite simple; I go where the money is. Hell my name is MONEY Mayweather! WWE offered me twenty million back then and TBS offered me double that, just to show up and fight this drunk, Scott Hall. This is going to be the easiest forty million I’ve even made. I bet Hall won’t even show, he’ll probably be in some gutter…. I mean, he’ll probably, “come down with food poisoning” again.
“Hey Yo”
Scott Hall makes his way through the fans who are trying to tap him on the back.
Hall: I know I’ve done a lot of crazy stuff in the past, but this is 2009 and I’m a changed man. I’ve gone through rehab and I’ve got my life back in order. This is my year, and my goal is to win the IWF Heavyweight Championship. If I have to beat up on a midget to do that, then I’ll get down on my knees and I’ll do just that. Floyd, in two weeks, you’re going to become my forty million dollar stepping stone.
-A taped message by Raven plays on the big screen behind the podium.
Raven: My journey has taken me from ROH to ECW, to WCW, to WWE, to TNA, and in every company I have been under used and under valued. Now I find myself here in IWF and it’s more than likely that the same thing will happen to me here. When faced with a challenge do you give in or fight? I refuse to let this company under use me like every other company. I’m going to fight to be on top. I’m going to wage an unholy war on IWF. I’m the Raven, and soon IWF will meet my flock. Quote the Raven, NEVERMORE!
- After the video a confused Fliehr calls off the press conference and Floyd Mayweather is escorted out of the building.
