Jamie Noble vs Paul Burchill : Noble hits a wicked chop that echoes through the building. Legsweep out of Nowhere. Where is Nowhere, and why do moves keep coming out of there? Does it have a factory? Paul Burchill powers out of a Jamie Noble headlock. Hard impact russian legsweep by Burchill. If you're going to get impact, 'hard' is probably a good way to go. Stiff chop lights up Noble. Noble counters a backdrop attempt with a kick to the face. Super frankensteiner on Burchill, who hit hard. Jamie Noble has Paul Burchill down...and locks in the Modified Dragon Sleeper for the submission victory! Jamie Noble extends his hand to Burchill...and it is accepted! They shake! I'll give this a ***1\4 rating.

Team Finlay (Finlay, Samoa Joe, Triple H, and Sting) vs Team Lesnar (Brock Lesnar, Jeff Jarrett, Monty Brown, and Randy Orton) : First Fall : Chanelling the spirit of Misawa, Sting uses a forearm to the face. Rude Awakening on Monty Brown by Sting. Hooks the leg for a two count. Sting misses a big legdrop after stalling too long. Monty Brown scores with a big spinebuster. Cover, but there's a last second kick-out. Sting comes up with a right hand out of nowhere. Massive backbreaker, Brown got planted. Early reports indicate that the back was *not* actually broken, so the move's name should actually be backhurter. Pin : 1 - 2- 3. Sting defeats Brown. Second Fall : Big clothesline on Jarrett. Sting hits a bulldog off the ropes. Cover for a two count. Jarrett counters a sleeper hold by turning it into a jaw breaker. Death valley driver by Jeff Jarrett, Sting got planted. Sting can barely stand. Here it comes - Stroke. 1....2...3, it's finished. Third Fall : Flying shoulder tackle by Jarrett sends HHH to the mat. HHH walks into a spike slam. Hooks the leg for a two count. Triple H avoids a Jeff Jarrett avalanche. Spear! Jarrett is down and hurt. Triple H moves in for the kill. Pedigree!!! That shook the ring. 1....2....3!! Fourth Fall : Finlay receives some punishment. Bodyslam by Lesnar. Cover for a two count. Finlay ducks a wild right hand. Powerbomb on Lesnar. Pin : 1 - 2 - 2.9999999. Brock Lesnar elbows Finlay in the face to break a hammerlock. Spinebuster by Brock Lesnar. Pin : 1 - 2- 3. Lesnar defeats Finlay. Fifth Fall : Running knee lift from Randy Orton. Nice piledriver on HHH. Hooks the leg for a two count. Orton walks into a trip. Death valley driver by Triple H, Randy Orton got planted. Randy Orton can barely stand. Pedigree! 1....2....3. Sixth Fall : Samoa Joe snap suplexes Lesnar...with authority! ('With authority', trademark G.Monsoon 1986.) Hooks the leg for a two count. Samoa Joe hits a delayed suplex on Lesnar. Death valley driver by Samoa Joe, Brock Lesnar got planted. Pin, but Lesnar is out just before the three count. Lesnar blocks a kick from Samoa Joe. We have our mandatory ref bump, as he goes down after accidentally getting caught by an elbow to the face. Brock Lesnar moves in for the kill. F-5!!! That shook the ring. Pinfall attempt, but the ref is conveniently laid out. Running knee lift from Brock Lesnar. Joe counters a sleeper hold by turning it into a jaw breaker. Samoa Joe floors Brock Lesnar. Kokina Clutch!!! Brock Lesnar taps out! Almost a *** rating, but there were some bits that dragged, so **3\4 instead.

Diesel vs Batista vs Kane (For The NWA:EC Heavyweight Title) : Diesel bodyslams Kane. Batista drives Diesel into the cage side. Kane drops out the back of a Batista bodyslam attempt. Spear by Kane. Spear by Kane. Kane climbs the cage...but Diesel is in hot pursuit, and they both end up back on the canvas. Massive lariat, apparently Batista has been watching The Best Of Stan Hansen again. Kane reverses a Batista hammerlock. Kane launches Batista into the cage wall. Death valley driver by Diesel, Kane got planted. Death valley driver by Kane, Diesel got planted. Kane goes to leave the cage by the door...but Shawn Michaels appears at ringside and slams the door on his head! Diesel takes the opportunity, and climbs out the door for the win! A good *** rating.

Rey Mysterio vs Rob Van Dam (For The NWA:EC Intercontinental Title) : Standing leg lariat by Rey Mysterio on RVD. High cross body from the top of the ladder to the outside on RVD! RVD walks into a high dropkick from Rey Mysterio. Flying elbow from Rey Mysterio. Mysterio walks into a trip. Standing leg lariat by Rob Van Dam on Mysterio. Spinning bulldog in the corner, Mysterio is down. Mysterio pushes out of a Rob Van Dam hold. Springboard dropkick from Rey Mysterio. Nicely done. RVD ducks a wild right hand. RVD begins to climb up the ladder. He reaches the top...but Mysterio gets up and pushes the ladder! Rob Van Dam falls from the top of the ladder all the way over the ropes to the outside! Rey Mysterio takes the opportunity and climbs the ladder for the win! Rey Mysterio remains in the ring, celebrating the victory. A ****1\4 rating, great bout.

Hooks the leg for a two count. Shelton tags out to Charlie Haas. World's Greatest Tag Team hook up J.Hardy, then hit a double suplex. J.Hardy tastes a high angle back suplex. It probably tasted like chicken. Hooks the leg for a two count. Standing leg lariat by Charlie Haas on J.Hardy. J.Hardy kicks Charlie Haas in the gut to reverse the momentum. Tiger suplex on Haas, right from out of the Misawa playbook. Tag to Matt Hardy. M.Hardy uses a basement dropkick to the knee. Flying cross body off the top rope! I'll give a 0.8 on the Steamboat scale for that effort. Matt Hardy misses a big legdrop after stalling too long. Tag between Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin. Springboard reverse elbow by Shelton Benjamin. Excellent move. M.Hardy walks into a face crusher variation. Pin : 1 - 2 - 2.9999999. Stiff high kick on M.Hardy by Shelton Benjamin who has evidently been watching some old AJPW tapes recently. Matt Hardy elbows Shelton Benjamin in the face to break a hammerlock. Flying reverse elbow by Matt Hardy. Shelton Benjamin is all alone...Swanton And Twist Of Fate!! 1....2....3! Hardy Boyz go into the crowd, where they celebrate their win. I'm slapping a ****1\4 rating on this.

Ultimate Warrior vs Hulk Hogan vs The Rock vs Ultimo Dragon (For The NWA World Heavyweight Title) : Spinning back kick from Ultimo Dragon. Driven DDT by Ultimo Dragon. The ring shook violently, instantly making it better at selling than some of the current roster. There's a two count on the pin. Dragon drops an elbow...but misses. Fate can be so cruel. Tag between Ultimate Warrior and The Rock. Flying shoulder tackle by Rock sends Dragon to the mat. Dragon reverses an irish whip...and The Rock runs into the referee. Lifting DDT by The Rock, looked good. Cover, but there's no one to count for The Rock. Bodyslam by Rock. Ultimo Dragon ducks a clothesline attempt. Tag between Ultimo Dragon and Hulk Hogan. Suplex into a front slam from Hogan, but the execution was crap. Amateur-style takedown from Hulk Hogan, capitalising on that *huge* demand for amateur wrestling that we see every day. Rock counters an arm wringer with an elbow to the side of the head. Running knee lift from The Rock. Powerbomb on Hogan. Rock tags out to Ultimo Dragon. Flying elbow from Ultimo Dragon. Vicious kick to the teeth from Ultimo Dragon. Akira Maeda would be proud. Hulk Hogan is in trouble. Here it comes - Asai DDT. 1....2...3, it's finished. I can't decide whether it's a *** or a ***1\2 match...let's go for a ***1\4 rating to make it fair.
