Just if anyone was wondering, that ROH Be-The-Booker I was doing a while collapsed due to lack of communication between me and the other guy. No big deal though. I've started one on another site in the mean time, already have some things done and I expect I'll be posting it here in the next few days (though in pieces. Not going to do it all at once like last time).
Hope y'all don't mind since I blatantly I stole the Full Throttle Wrestling name. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

I have posted the June 1st edition of Monday Night Raw along with the Draft Results! Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, comment for comment! Check it out!

I'm getting the final graphics and stuff done for my promotion. I didn't want to start a promotion from scratch and choose the roster as I feel that is far too easy of a way to get carried away and end up stacking your roster with great talent. I also did not want to overtake a companies exact roster as I feel it's a bit confusing to do it that way considering you have to choose a starting point and remain true to the product up until then.
Instead I've decided to do this a really old school way. My thread will have a more elaborate write up of the back story, but the basic cliffs are that over time WWE has lost both the TV deals for the ECW and the Smackdown brand and as a result are forced to draft a single roster. To do this, I am going to pick names out of a hat to determine who stays and who goes.
I'll hopefully have my thread along with the draft recap up by the end of the night....
I've seen loads of writers do drafts before, but that's a pretty clever way of doing it and you have me interested. Wondering why those TV deals got dropped (economic downturn? New competition? Guess we'll have to see), and see who WWE values most on their roster to be apart of their main (and only) show.

I just feel it would be far too "easy" to choose my own roster by hand. The point of this is really to test myself as I could coincidentally end up with a roster where I'm forced to make Ricky Ortiz a top guy (let's hope not :P.)
There's really no point in having a draft if you aren't actually having it at random. Otherwise it's just a gimmicky way of presenting your chosen roster.
Just was wondering how many people read my shows? Any feedback on anything like current storylines or anything? Just a curious question and would anyone like to start a comment for comment thing between your BTB and my BTB?

Heh I've kind of been delaying that, and with my damn ear ache coming back it's slipped my mind. Just a bit hard to do because yours has been around for sooo long (congrats on that btw). Tomorrow I'll read a bit from the first couple pages then read from Page 9 onward and give you some feedback.

What's a good number of shows to write a week? I have one weekly show, but following things in real time (IE one RAW a week) is far too slow for me. Is writing 2-3 episodes of RAW a week too much for most people to follow?
What's the perfect number of shows to have a week before it just becomes too much for people to care to read?
^^^IMO in order to keep it into a real life time frame why don't you just end the draft and do Raw and Smackdown! so you're doing two shos a week ad when you feel like it, do Saturday Nights Main Event so it's 3 a week. Plus PPV's.
