Hardcore Wrestling Entertainment
After the fold of ecw in 2001, many hardcore fans didnt know where to turn. HWE took them by suprise. It brought a form of Entertainment to hardcore wrestling, which was the first of its kind at that time.In the first episode of HWE, there was a 20 man battle royal to determine the first HWE world champion. The Sandman won last beating Sabu and held the title for 1 year and a half making it the longest reign to this day. He's considered a legend among HWE members. Today, in 2008, CM Punk holds the title, adding more respect to the belt.
