Throughout the year of 2008, Total Nonstop Action Wrestling was beginning to rise to the top. This was mostly because of wrestling fans becoming bored of the World Wrestling Entertainment product due to things such as John Cena defeating Chris Jericho to now become the new World Heavyweight Champion, as many wrestling fans critized this due to the popularity that Jericho was producing.
TNA were starting to put interesting storylines on television such as this TNA Originals-Main Event Mafia feud which is oonly starting to produce high ratings for TNA. With all these good things happening for TNA Wrestling, the question amongst wrestling fans was if TNA could continue going this way or would they later fall down to Vince McMahon?
