SILENT SCREAM: WWE - SURVIVOR SERIES

In the last few years, several WWE superstars have jumped ship to TNA, hoping to enhance their careers and get away from the politics of backstage WWE. Their TNA careers started off well enough, but pissed off with TNA management, three ex-WWE stars quit TNA. These superstars were Christian Cage, Booker T and Kurt Angle. They all sent apologies directly to Vince McMahon, and within 8 hours of their TNA resignations, Vince offered each of them with two year contracts. All of them accepted, thankful to be back in the WWE as TNA ratings continued to plummet. Since then, WWE have used these three wrestlers very carefully, making sure not to give them huge pushes over others who have worked particularly hard. Over the following months, these three superstars steadily wrestled in the high card, and Vince had his eye on all of them. It is now time for Survivor Series, and all three wrestlers feature very prominently, in a match devised by Vince McMahon himself.

Chris Jericho (c) vs. CM Punk

At Unforgiven, CM Punk was withdrawn from competing in the RAW Championship Scramble after a vicious attack at the hands of Team Priceless. His replacement, Chris Jericho, went on to win the match and the World Heavyweight Championship. Since then, Jericho has successfully defended against a number of competitors: Charlie Haas, Jamie Noble and Batista. Punk finally lost his nerve two weeks ago on RAW, stating that he never lost his championship and he was entitled to a rematch. Mike Adamle agreed that the two would fight for the championship at Survivor Series, and it would be inside a steel cage to keep other competitors out!

WWE Championship
Falls Count Anywhere
Triple H (c) vs. MVP

MVP felt cheated after Unforgiven, adamant that he should have walked out as champion. Angered that WWE management let Triple H walk around SmackDown as the champion, he challenged Triple H to a Falls Count Anywhere Match at Survivor Series. This came after Triple H defeated MVP at both No Mercy and Cyber Sunday - both through MVP's disobedience and his disrespect for the law. MVP claimed that in the Falls Count Anywhere Match, there are no rules, and that the victor will be the true WWE Champion. Vickie Guerrero granted his wish, telling Triple H that if he managed to defeat MVP, then he would have a lot worse coming at him.

Team SmackDown vs. Team RAW
3-on-3 Elimination Match
Big Show, Christian Cage and William Regal vs. Kurt Angle, Booker T and Chavo Guerrero

In a match made by Vince McMahon himself, SmackDown's Big Show, Christian Cage and Wiliam Regal will take on RAW's Kurt Angle, Booker T and Chavo Guerrero in a traditional elimination style match. Vince claimed that he chose the people he did because he saw their work and he liked it. An added stipulation to the match is that the winning trio will face each other on their show the week following Survivor Series, where the winner will receive a reward...

World Tag Team Championship

Randy Orton and Natalya Neidhart (c) vs. Tough Irish Bastards

On the RAW following Unforgiven, Team Priceless made an open challenge to any tag team that thought they could take on the likes of them in a World Tag Team Championship Match, claiming to be the best team ever to hit the industry. It was then that Cryme Tyme answered the call, asking for a rematch against Team Priceless. Before Priceless could respond however, JTG and Shad were attacked from behind by Randy Orton, DH Smith and Natalya Neidhart, and the NextGen faction was born. Digusted by this behaviour, Mike Adamle forced Rhodes and DiBiase to defend their titles against Randy Orton... and Natalya Neidhart! He went on to say that the titles would now be intergender, and that the losing team would be booted to SmackDown! Orton and Natalya won, whilst DH Smith followed DiBiase and Rhodes to SmackDown. Orton and Natalya's first challenge comes tonight in the face of the Tough Irish Bastards. NextGen claim that this is the best move for them, as their faction now 'dominates' on both brands...

Intercontinental Championship
Singles Match
Santino Marella (c) vs. Kofi Kingston

When Beth Phoenix lost her Women's Championship to Melina, she deserted Santino to fend for himself. Mike Adamle claimed that an unknown source requested Santino to defend his Intercontinental Championship against Kofi Kingston at Survivor Series - was it Beth who suggested the match?

Tag Team Triple Threat Match
The Hardy Boyz (c) vs. The Edgeheads vs. Miz and Morrison

At No Mercy, The Hardy Boyz defeated The Edgeheads to become the new WWE Tag Team Champions. Their celebrations were cut short when Miz and Morrison attacked them after their victory. Vickie Guerrero made the match originally to be The Hardy Boyz vs. The Edgeheads (her family), but after Miz and Morrison defeated Curt and Zack the following SmackDown, she allowed them entry into this match.

Interbrand Handicap Match
3-on-2 Handicap Match
DH Smith, Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase vs. JTG and Shad

The three young members of NextGen were running their mouths on their first ever SmackDown, talking about interbrand dominance by the NextGen faction. Cryme Tyme interrupted their speech, claiming that they could beat all three of them in a handicap match, and so the match was made. Do Cryme Tyme have any tactics hidden under their sleeves?

The orange fire and pyro explodes at the ramp to start the show as Survior Series' official theme "Jetpack" by Flobots plays. The commentators, Jim Ross, Tazz, Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole introduce the show before three NextGen members come out to a loud chorus of boos. DH Smith, Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase approach the ring and give each other a pre-match plan before JTG and Shad come out to loud cheers. The commentators emphasize on the fact that this is a 3-on-2 handicap match, and that JTG and Shad have a distinct disadvantage.

DH Smith, Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase vs. JTG and Shad

It was explained that all five men will be competing at the same time. As the bell rings, all three NextGen members storm towards JTG and Shad, beating them down in the corner. DH Smith beat down on JTG whilst Rhodes and DiBiase both worked on the larger Shad. Feeling that this beatdown had gained them some time, the NextGen members took a break to gloat to the crowd. This short fraction of time allowed Shad to get to his feet. He managed to clothesline DiBiase and Rhodes to the mat. JTG had also gotten up and had dropkicked DH Smith. However, the 3-on-2 stipulation proved too much, and JTG and Shad shortly found themselves on the wrong side of another beating. They found themselves in this predicament for a good ten minutes in the match. Sensing that the end was near, DH Smith and Cody Rhodes beat down on Shad whilst DiBiase applied the Million Dollar Dream to JTG. JTG was forced to submit. However, the moral victory went Cryme Tyme's way when Shad fought away from Smith and Rhodes and proceeded to clean house. They realized they had lost, but shook hands regardless, realizing that there is strength in numbers.

Winners: DH Smith, Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase via submission (13:24)

Once the NextGen members had gone to the back, as well as the defeated but not deflated Cryme Tyme, the loud and somewhat cringeworthy tones of the opera sung "La Vittoria É Mia" played through the arena, signifying the appearance of the Intercontinental Champion, Santino Marella. For the first time in a while, he wasn't being occupied to the ring by his now ex-girlfriend, and ex-Women's Champion, Beth Phoenix. He had a microphone in his hand as he walked down the ramp, his monobrow contorting into all sorts of concerned shapes as he did so. He walked into the ring via the steel steps as his music died down before he addressed the fans.

Santino Marella: Be quiet peoples! I, Santino Marella, have somethings to say to you. Last-a week on RAW, Mike Adam-el tells me that an anonymous persons requested that I defend my championships against a-Kofi Keenston... and he agreed. Now, as a fighting champion, I will defend my championships tonight - but I wish this so-called anonymous persons to reveal themselves so I can ask just why you want me to face a-Kofi Keenston. Come on! Show yourselfs!

As Santino lowered his microphone, Beth Phoenix's theme hit, and the crowd began to boo instantly. A smirk spread out on Santino's face as Beth made her way to the ring. She didn't look too pleased as she entered the ring.

Santino Marella: Aha! I knew it! Beth Phoenix, please. I know you are angry at me but there is no need for this hostilities-

Beth Phoenix: Actually Santino, I came out here to tell you that it definitely was not me who asked for this match. Whilst I do hate you, I'm not that sour. I don't know who asked for this to match to happen, I guess that's between Adamle and the person. Just don't blame me.

Beth left the ring as Santino looked bewildered, clueless as to who would want to set up such a match. Santino shortly left the ring after Beth as Justin Roberts entered the ring, ready to announce the next match.

The Edgeheads were the first to enter, followed by the team of Miz and Morrison, and finally the champions Matt and Jeff Hardy.
