WWE: Survivor Series 2008

Backstory:
One isn't really needed, to be honest. I'm starting it from Survivor Series 2008 and on. I am writing quick results for the previous PPV's from SummerSlam-Survivor Series. All the people that were released from WWE the past week, aren't released in my BTB. Same thing goes for the injured wrestlers. As much as I'd like to, I wont be able to write long results for the shows, just short, but quality-filled results. Quality is better than quantity, right?

Summer Slam 2008 Results

Hell in A Cell Match
Edge vs. Undertaker
Winner - Undertaker via Pin

1st Time Ever
Batista vs. John cena
Winner - No Contest via Interference

WWE Title Match

Winners - Kofi Kingston & Mickie James via Pin

ECW Title Match
Mark Henry(C) vs. Matt Hardy
Winner - Mark Henry via Pin

Info From The PPV:
Tony Atlas helped Henry win. Shelton Benjamin distracting Jeff Hardy, for MVP to gain the victory. Post Match saw Matt come and help his brother, but Mark Henry came to the ring, and all three, Henry, MVP & Benjamin beat down the Hardyz. A new alliance was formed, the new Nation of Domination, as the three men, with Tony Atlas, stood tall. In Cena/Batista, Randy Orton came out of nowhere and interrupted the match. He took out both men, and ti lead to a No contest finish. Taker/Edge had a brutal match-up, leaving Edge for dead inside the ring.

Leading Upto The Next PPV:
MVP had Vickie Guerrero on the VIP Lounge, and got a WWE Title Match. Mike Adamle announced a new Adamle Original, called the Championship Scramble. The participants announced were Champion Punk, JBL, Chris Jericho, Kane & D-Lo Brown. Another Adamle Original was announced, as Batista/Cena will be named to Unforgiven, but, Randy Orton is the special referee. And if Randy does not call it down the middle, he will never get a World Title shot again. During Smackdown! Undertaker beat Mark Henry, and Umaga made a surprise attack at the end, followed by Edge to come down to the ring, showing he was the Master plan behind the attack. The next week, Big Show beat Umaga by DQ, after Edge hit the ring. He looked to give Big Show a conchairto, swearing he and Umaga will run Smackdown! but before he hit the conchairto, the lights went out, and when they came back on, Undertaker appeared, and beat down Umaga, with Edge leaving him. Vickie announced on that show Edge/Umaga will face Taker/Big Show at Unforgiven. This feud between the Nation and Hardyz continued, and now at Unforgiven, shades of summerSlam, Henry & Shelton will defend both Titles in a tag team contest vs. the Hardyz. Other business on Smackdown! was the debut of R-Truth, but that was not the only debut, as Carlito made his Smackdown! debut with a new look, taking out R-Truth after his victory. Carlito was angry he didn't get the sine R-Truth did, so he beat him down. Leading to a match at the PPV. Back on RAW, Paul & Katie Burchill beat Noble & Layla, to qualify for separate matches, vs. Kofi Kingston for the IC Title, and Mickie James for the Womens Title.

Infro From The PPV:
William Regal made a interference during Batista/Cena, which yet again, lead to no winner between the two, and we are yet to find out who is better. Orton, the referee, looked angry at Regal, but that soon changed, as the two took out Cena and Batista by themselves. Orton and Regal stood tall. A backstage segment took place where the New Nation offered R-Truth to be apart of their squad, but R-Truth refused, saying he's solo, on his own. During the Championship Scramble, the Title changed hands Zero times. Punk some how got away as the winner. During the match however, Shawn Michaels came from the crowd, to take out Chris Jericho, and Lance Cade who was at his side. D-Lo Brown was the closes to winning the Championship, but was unable to, as Kane destroyed him before he could go for the cover, and time ran out. JBL and Kane double teamed Punk post-match, until they battled it out, with Kane leaving. And MVP became the WWE Champion thanks to the help from Big Daddy V. He took out Triple H, and MVP nailed the Kick to the head, for the victory. Yet again, the Nation stood tall.

Leading Upto The Next PPV:
After Y2J complained to Adamle about HBK's interference, and announced Punk/Jericho for No Mercy. The two have had heated confrontations for weeks, before the PPV. Adamle also told Kane he demanded to know where Rey Mysterio was, and threatened to have the men in white suits tie him up in a stray jacket. Kane simply said "It's not that hard to find a man in hell". Leaving Adamle puzzled, he finally found Mysterio, beat up, cut up, tortured, and tied up, in the Boiler room. Adamle announced Kane vs. Mysterio, Boiler Room Brawl Match at No Mercy. Another big RAW Match announced, was Orton & Regal vs. Batista and Cena. Both Cena & Batista were not happy, but agreed on one thing, to take out Regal & Orton, then to finally settle their business. Also, Shawn Michaels' first match since his bloody brutal defeat at the Bash, he will face off against Lance Cade, in a match that can very well decide HBK's future in the WWE, if he still has one. It was announced RAW is too big for both men, and the loser will leave RAW for GOOD! On Smackdown! MVP will defend his Title vs. the former Champion Triple H. And after Edge got Vickie Guerrero fired from the Board of Directors, Edge thought he was in good, but unfortunately, the new Smackdown! General Manager, was the same man he beat down a month and a half earlier, Mick Foley! Mick announced Edge will face Big Show, and Undertaker will face Umaga. Also, in a LumberJack Match at No Mercy, both ECW & SD! GM's agreed to Mark Henry defending his Title vs. the man he threatened just a month earlier, R-Truth. and the Lumberjacks are the Nation members, and Matt & Jeff Hardy, Evan Bourne, and Elijah Burke.

No Mercy Card

Main Event - World Heavyweight Championship Match
CM Punk(C) vs. Chris Jericho
Winner - Chris Jericho

Boiler Room Brawl Match
Kane vs. Rey Mysterio
Winner - Rey Mysterio

Tag Team Grudge Match
William Regal & Randy Orton vs. Batista & John Cena
Winners - Cena & Batista

Return Match
Shawn Michaels vs. Lance Cade
Winner - Shawn Michaels

WWE Championship Match
MVP(C) vs. Triple H
Winner - HHH

Single's Match
Undertaker vs. Umaga
Winner - Undertaker

Single's Match
Big Show vs. Edge
Winner - Edge

ECW Championship Match
Mark Henry vs. R-Truth
Winner - Mark Henry

Info From The PPV:
During the ECW Title Lumberjack Match, Elijah Burke, who the whole match looked like the face, helped Henry win, by defeating R-Truth. Elijah Burke, another new member of the Nation, stood with the Nation, for the third PPV in a row, proved they really are the Nation of Domination, getting ready for MVP's match later on. Edge beat Show, due to interference from Chavo, Bam Neely & Ryder & Hawkins who attempted to help Show beat Edge, but failed. Edge escaped happy, but Show took out the entire "Guerrero" Family. Undertaker beat Umaga cleanly, with the Last Ride. Shawn Michaels beat Lance Cade, in what was a possible show stealer. Lance Cade left, a beaten man, and now, a man without a job. Rey Mysterio won the Boiler Room, by barely escaping the Room. After he did escape, Kane chased after him, and when he caught up to Rey, he threw him into a window plate glass. A bloody Rey was left, as Kane laughed. Another segment of the Nation threatening fellow black wrestlers. They came across Cryme Tyme, telling them they are a bad name to the Black race. Cryme Tyme got beat up by Big Daddy V, Henry, Shelton & Elijah Burke. Adamle, Foley & Teddy Long were backstage, and all agreed on Survivor Series matches. Cena & Batista beat Orton and Regal, cleanly. And after that, the two had a stare down. Chris Jericho won a huge match, beating Punk, becoming the World Champion. Jericho celebrated, after the clean win. Triple H beat MVP, and as he celebrated with his Title, Mick Foley came out, and informed Triple H, after reading the contract of their match, Vickie Guerrero made it clear the Title was not on the line, as there was fine print somewhere in the contract they signed, that HHH had to get two falls to win, but MVP only needed one. As Mick was telling Triple H this, MVP rolled HHH up, and retained his Title! HHH was shocked, so was Mick Foley. Mick was angry with himself, not wanting MVP to win.

Leading UpTo The Next PPV:
With a big PPV coming up, the GM's wanted this Survivor Series to be spectacular. They announced two Tri-Branded Survivor Series Matches. First, features the Nation of Domination, with another new member, Carlito. All of them, except for MVP who will defend his Title later on. They will take on the Black wrestlers that they have been beating down every PPV, and almost every week, who refused to team with them. The men are Cryme Tyme, D-Lo Brown, Kofi Kingston & The leader of the team, R-Truth. Mick Foley also announced a Fatal Four Way Elimination Style match, for the WWE Title. MVP defends vs. Triple H, the returning MR. Kennedy, and man who's been on fire recently, THE Brian Kendrick. Umaga and The Undertaker are also set to take on each other, in a rematch from No Mercy. This time the Match will be A Samoan Street Fight, Umaga's Playground, but it will be stuck in Undertaker's Yard. Another Cross Brand match, features two girls who have been trashing one another for months. Divas Champion Michelle McCool vs. Womens Champion Katie Lea Burchill. IT will be a Title Unification Match The night after HBK beat Cade, JBL interrupted a speech by HBK, and disrespected the future Hall of Famer. Mike Adamle decided to make them go head-to-head, for the first time ever. Another Adamle Original was announced, as Kane and Rey Mysterio will battle in a Hangman's Horror Match. The object of the Match is, to win, you have to wrap a cold, steel chain around your opponents neck, and tie them up to the Steel Cage that will surround the ring, so the loser is the one left Hanging. In the second Tri-Branded Survivor Series Match, John Cena, Batista, Big Show, Matt & Jeff Hardy team up, to battle the Rated R Superstar Champion Edge, being reunited with the Legend Killer Randy Orton, William Regal, The Miz & John Morrison. Then in the main event, Chris Jericho defends his World Title vs. the former Champion, CM Punk, in the Ladder Match. Another match is a unique one, where the the GM picks one Superstar each. They will fight, and the one left standing the victor, gets a World Title shot for his brand, while the one that gets pinned will loses not just the match, but their entire show. They carry an entire show on their shoulders, as Paul Burchill representing RAW, faces Finlay representing ECW, vs. The Great Khali representing Smackdown!

Re: WWE: Survivor Series 2008

RAW

November 24th, 2008

Show opens to a video showing last night's highlights, followed by a hot crowd ready for a show. Camera pans around the arena, showing the fans signs, etc. Cole & King welcome us to RAW, and just at that moment Mike Adamle's theme song hits. Crowd erupts in boo's, and Mike comes down to the ring. With a grin on his face, he puts the microphone to his lips and begins to speak.

Mike Adamle: With the success of Survivor Series, especially for the RAW Brand. I thought of a great idea for our next Pay Per View, Armageddon. See, we have many Superstars, all deserving of a World Title shot. That is why, I'm giving five men a chance at the World Championship. And over the next couple weeks we will decide the men that will challenge the World Champion Chris Jericho, by have ten matches, all qualifying to be in the Six Pack Match at Armageddon. And tonight, it begins when William Regal.

Crowd Boo's

Mike Adamle: Battles....John Cena!

Crowd Pops - With mixed Reaction

Mike Adamle: And in the main event, the Monster Kane battles The Animal Batista!!

Crowd Pops huge for that.

Mike Adamle: And that is not it, because right now, we will have ourselves a Title Match! World Tag Team Champions, Simply Priceless, face these two men....

As Mike points up to the ramp, "Yo, Yo, yo!" hits, and runs down Cryme Tyme, to a very big crowd pop. After their successful win the night before, they are ready to win some gold, as they enter the ring. After them comes Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase Jr., the Tag Champions. They enter the ring, and the bell is rung.

World Tag Team Title Match
Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase Jr.(C) vs. Cryme Tyme

Finish: The match up to this point has been dominated for the most part by Rhodes & DiBiase Jr. They've been keeping JTG away from tagging his partner Shad nearly the entire time. Rhodes is working on JTG in his corner, kicking him multiple times, and choking him with his boot. Cody then tags in his partner Ted, and Ted climbs in, looking cocky. Ted grabs JTG by his hair, lifting him up to his feet. He elbows JTG in his face, and takes him down with a Snapmare. Ted locks in a Reverse Chin Lock, keeping it locked in real tight. Ted keeps it on for a good while, until the fans, and Shad cheer on JTG. JTG is able to overcome the Chin Lock, getting up to his knees, and lays in some shots on Ted's mid section. He runs against the ropes, and runs at Ted, but Ted takes JTG down with a thunderous clothesline! Ted covers JTG, 1..2..Kickout. Ted stands right up, and nails a Fist Drop. Another cover, another two. Ted tags in Cody, as he hops in the ring. Cody stomps down on JTG, and talks trash down to JTG, as he's down. Cody picks JTG up, and chops him right in his chest. An Irish whip to JTG, and Cody bends over, but JTG jumps over Cody's body, and jumps over, getting a tag in on Shad. Fans pop, and Shad hops over the rope, hitting Cody with a big shoulder block. Shad waits for him to get up again, and drops Cody with a Clothesline. Ted gets in the ring, but Shad ducks, and JTG jumps off the turnbuckle out of nowhere, and takes Ted down with a Dropkcik! The fans are goin' nuts now, and Shad picks Cody up, Irish whips him, and nails a Big Boot! He covers Cody, 1...2..Kickout! Shad doesn't waste time, he gets right back up, and goes for a hot tag to JTG, but from behind is Ted, who chop blocks Shad. JTG gets right back in, and takes Ted out of the ring. JTG then jumps over the top rope, landing on Ted on the outside of the ring! Shad is in the ring, holding his leg, and Cody is beginning to get up. Once he does, he takes this to his advantage, kicking Shad in his gut, and nails The DDT! Cody hooks the leg, 1...2...3! Cody rolls out of the ring, grabbign the Belts. JTG rushes in the ring, to the aid of Shad, as Cody goes to Ted, handing him his Tag Title, and the two, have a smirk on their way up the ramp.

A Graphic is shown saying tonight is the official RAW Debut of The Miz!

------Commercial Break------

Backstage Segment
Mike Adamle is in his office, when JBL walks in, furious. He begins yelling at Mike Adamle, demanding the reason as to why he wasn't in the World Title Qualifying Match. Mike explains he decided to give JBL the night off, and he has the match next week. JBL calms down, and grows a slight grin, and asks Mike who it is. Mike simply tells him, it's CM Punk! JBL doesn't look too happy after that, as in past matches he came up short to Punk. Scene fades to the ring.

Six Womans Tag Team Match
Kelly Kelly, Mickie James & Candice Michelle vs. Victoria, Maryse & Natayla Neidhart
Finish: The macth was very back and forth. With this being Candice Michelle's Raw Return since her serious injury earlier in the year, she is yet to be tagged in the match. With Maryse all over Kelly, it looks like it won't happen, but Kelly then reverses a Boston Crab Attempt from Maryse, and kicks her, sending Maryse into her corner. Kelly crawls over to her corner, and tags in Candice Michelle, and Maryse tags in Victoria. Both women come into the ring, and Candice ducks a punch attempt from Victoria, and nails a couple forearms on Victoria, followed by an Irish whip. Candice bends down, and Victoria kicks Candice right in her chest. Candice shows her pain, and Victoria loosk to finish the match, going for her finisher, but Candice jumps off her shoulders, facing her back, and rolls Victoria up. 1...2...3! Candice gets the three for her team, gaining the victory. Mickie and Kelly Kelly enter the ring, celebrating with Candice.

In-Ring Segment
Just then "Generation A" hits, and out comes the Intercontinental Champ Paul Burchill, with his Sister the Womens Champion, Katie. They both walk down the ramp, entering the ring. Katie goes up to Candice, gloating a bit with her Title. She points to Candice telling her to leave their ring. Candice says to Katie she'll leave, but Katie better kiss the Title and hold it close to her, as it wont be with her for too long. Fans pop for that, and Candice, Kelly and Mickie leave. Paul grabs a microphone, and fans boo. Paul begins talking about Survivor Series, and how he won his match. Saying he beat Khali and Finlay. Paul brags about being RAW's #1 Superstar, and then shows what happened from the Show. After the video, he says ECW is Dead....again, and will remain Dead this time. Before Paul can continue, RAW's newest Superstar from ECW, who lost to Paul, Finlay, comes walking out. He climbs in, and the two exchange words, and Finlay challenges Paul to a match. Paul says no, and Finlay tells Paul too bad, that he wasn't asking. And that he got someone with him, from ECW.....Tommy Dreamer! Tommy comes out, to a big pop. Tommy climbs in, standing with Finlay. Finlay explains that Tommy was the Original ECW, and Finlay was apart of the new ECW. And as much as Paul hates it, ECW IS alive, still on Raw. As Paul and Finlay go face to face, Katie low blows Tommy, and Paul quickly clotheslines Tommy down to the mat. The two quickly escape, and have a smirk on their face, as Finlay kneels down to Tommy.

------Commercial Break------

RAW returns, and backstage is Paul Burchill, and his sister Katie, still laughing after what they did. They are then approached by their good friend William Regal. He has a smirk on his face, and tells the two he needs to talk to them. The three walk off, as the scene jumps back to the ring.

Single's Match
D-Lo Brown vs. Armando Estrada
D-Lo Brown's music hits, and he comes down to the ring, with Armando Estrada already in the ring, ready for their match. But before the match, Estrada gets on the mic and explains that he is ready to make a debut, like no other. And tonight is the mark of a new era on RAW. The Armando Estrada era. As he puts the mic down, the bell rings, and D-Lo runs right at him, and drops him with a spinning wheel kick. He then picks Estrada up, and nails a Scoop Slam on him. D-Lo walks over to Estrada's head, and does his famous Leg Drop. D-Lo gets right back up, and waits for him to get up, and when Estrada gets up, D-Lo nails a Sky High! Cover, 1...2...3!! D-Lo Brown wins the match already, without even breaking a sweat. Fans mention "What a great debut for Estrada", sarcastically. D-Lo Brown laughs, as he taunts on the turnbuckle.

Backstage Segment
The Miz is seen walking to the ring, ready for his RAW Debut.

------Commercial------

RAW returns

RAW Debut
The Miz vs.Paul London
The Miz's theme hits, and The Miz walks out to the ring. He climbs in, and taunts on the turnbuckle. The Miz then walks around in the ring, awaiting his opponent. Paul London's theme hits, and he runs down the ramp, and runs right into the ring, but at the exact moment he slides into the ring, The Miz runs and kicks London right in his face! Miz continues kicking London in his back, and drops an elbow on him. Referee rings the bell, and when Miz lifts London up, blood is trickling out of his nose, after the vicious kick to his face from Miz. Miz pushes London to the corner, and slaps him right in his face, followed by an Irish whip to the opposite corner, and right when London hits the corner, he goes down hard. Miz taunts a little, as the referee tends to the bloody London. The Miz doesn't care what the referee does, he grabs London off the mat, and sets him up in a Suplex position. He keeps it stalled, letting the blood rush to the head of London, more and more. Instead of dropping London on his back, like a normal Suplex, he drops London stomach-first on the top ring ropes! Miz then runs against the ropes, and nails a Million Dollar Kneelift-like ove, right to his nose again. With London still draped over the ropes, Miz nails a Neckbreaker, hitting his Reality Check finisher! Miz covers London with ease, 1...2...3! The Miz gets the victory, and London is a bloody mess, as Miz just celebrates.

Backstage Segment
Todd Grisham interviews the World Heavyweight Champion, Chris Jericho. Chris is asked about the whole Six Pack Match.

Chris Jericho: What I think? How do you think I feel? I have to defend my Title against five men, which I don't even know who the five men are yet. I think this is some kind of plot against me to try and take this World Title off of me. Last night I beat CM Punk in a Ladder Match. We tore the house down, and now I have to face five men at Armageddon? Todd, can you do me a favor? Send a little message to Mike Adamle, telling him what I think of this crap he calls a Six Pack Challenge.

Chris looks at Todd, and punches him right in his face. Todd goes down, and loses his glasses. As Jericho picks up his Title and looks down at Grisham, he turns to leave, and walks into CM Punk. Punk has a slight smirk, looking at Jericho's Title. Punk tells him next week he'll beat JBL, and then at Armageddon, he'll finally get that Title back where it belongs. Jericho walks around him, and walks away, looking back at Punk.

Mike Adamle is informed from a worker about the 'message' from Chris Jericho.

Mike Adamle: Is that so? Well will you do me a favor? YOU go to Chris Jericho, and tell him that his boss, Mike Adamle said just for that, tonight he is defending that World Title of his! So since he doesn't want the Six Pack Match at Armageddon, he might not even make it to the PPV as the Champion. Tell to get ready, because tonight, that Title is on the line.

Worker: But sir, against who?

Mike Adamle: Let me surprise him. Now go and inform him of this.

Scene cuts down to ringside, as the Announcers discuss the big news of an impromptu World Title Match, tonight.
