<CENTER>After the Financial year for ECW in 2008 Vince McMahon decided to fold from ownership of ECW as It was going nowhere; Many ECW talent were left stranded and some drafted to Raw and Smackdown, many of the talent left stranded such as Evan Bourne and Elijah Beurke were soon taken In by TNA. Months later, Paul Heyman, The Sandman, Sabu, Tazz & Joey styles got together in Philadelphia (The home of ECW) and decided to get some of the old talent together and do a comeback show. Due to ECW's large, rabid fanbase there was a lot of funding put forward and Paul Hayman had a large savings account with a sum of $2 million (Due to ECW DVD's, merch etc.) Along with Joey styles, ECW were able to play a one night show In Philadelphia. ECW brought back talent such as: Mikey Whip wreck, Sabu, sandman, Balls Mahoney, Tommy Dreamer,Lance storm,Justin credible etc. </CENTER>

ECW - Live from Philadelphia 2009 Joey Styles: Hello & welcome to the all new extreme championship wrestling, Im your host Joey Styles along side Taz, and boy have we got an amazing night of extreme action for you baby! Taz: Yeah, Its off the chart for sure, Dreamer & Sandman Vs. Sabu & RVD, this is gonna be an absolute classic to say the least. Joey Styles: And how can you forgt the unmissable flaming tables match between the Dudleys, Bubbah Ray & D-Von vs. The Gangstas, New Jack and Mustapha saed.
A beam of light shines down at the new ECW boss paul Heyman as he makes his way down to the ring Taz: There he is, the big man himself Paul E, where would the land of extreme be without that guy? Joey Styles: Well we wouldnt be sat here thats for sure, he is the heart and soul of this company.
Paul Heyman: Hello there Philly! ECW Is in the House and Its bigger and better and more extreme than ever! Crowd: EC-Dub EC-dub EC-Dub.... Paul Heyman: We have got an unbelieveable amount of extreme action for you tonight.. Paul I rudely interrupted by a cocky Raven making his way down to the ring with baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire Paul: How dare you come down here and interrupt me, you better be lucky that Im not fighting you tonight you piece of S***, say hello to my newest member of ECW...Abyss! Abyss Vs. Raven
Raven attacks Abyss as he is entering the ring with the bat and begins to rake it against his fore head, but to ravens dismay, abyss gets up and clutches his huge right hand around his throat and chokeslams him out of the ring onto the cold hard concrete. After a few minuites of out of ring brawling abyss throws ravens body into the ring and picks up some hars ware from under the ring, he pulls out a garbage can filled with 3 singapore canes, a long strand of barbed wire and a glass jar. He also throws in a table.
as Abyss enters the ring raven capitalises with a glass jar to the back of the head. sending Abyss into a world of his own. Raven begins to hit Abyss in the back with the wired bat. Raven quickly sets up the table and leaves the ring, he looks to the crowd and talks trash to a young man on the front row, he then searches under the ring for some foreign objects, and pulls out a petrol cannister. Joey styles: Oh My god, dont let that be what I think It is. Abyss regains momentum as he flies through the middle rope. Abyss gets back up and throws Raven Into the ring. He then empties a quater of the petrol cannister over the table and pulls out a packet of matches from the garbage can. He lights the table and the flames almost burn abyss' face, he picks raven up and hits him with a singapore cane three times, onece on the head and twice in his ribs, Abyss clutches Ravens neck and picks him up over the flaming table, Abyss brings raven down straight to hell through the flames and the table. Joey Styles: Oh My God!! this is just a sampling of what we will see later on tonight taz. Taz: Oh my, that takes me back to the good 'ol days abyss covers raven 1,2,3 ding ding. Joey Styles: Oh my, that was horrible, his body crashing through that table, it sends thrills through all of our spines. Crowd: Holy Shit Holy Shit Holy shit!
